amazing, two really solid puzzles with my fav amount of difficulty

I liked everything in this map, only that the two doors gave an idea of non real chamber dimensions, which spoils the little details which could have made this puzzle perfect.

Good funnel map! I liked the intro, cool idea. Puzzles were easy enough to execute but still took some thought. Well made with beautiful hammer work. Thanks for mapping!

Cool...Loved that it was a double-feature. Took me way longer than it should have to see what I was supposed to do with the funnel in the "orange-only" funnel room. Also, in that room, nothing I tried would break the Wheatley monitor--no problem breaking it in the reversible-funnel room...which was also my favorite of the two tests

I liked the choice at the start (although I was a tad confused). I think I also accidentally found the Easter Egg point. Not sure I'd have found it otherwise

Sidenote: Recently fallen in love with RectorRocks; glad I haven't seen this map's solution because solving this was amazing fun.

Damn! this one is difficult. The left door i thought was impossible until i saw the solution vid. One thing i did manage was get behind the thing jammed in the wall but that was a dead end. Then I got the radio in the non-test area and had it make the data noise! Not sure what the point of that was. I thought for sure the solution was through that back area, since i felt it was impossible to attempt that weird jump. The right door was a good challenge too. Well done all in all.

sorry, the cube puzzle is too clumzy, if you made the lazer catcher on the celing it would make sense, but sticking it on the wall just makes me feel like im using bugs

I had a wonderful time with this. It seemed harder than it is at first. I took the right side first. Spent a little time trying things that didn't work. After I hit on the solution, The whole thing was over in seconds. Surprise. Another chamber. Easier than the first but a good one nonetheless. Beautifully constructed. Great map. Thanks.

@ken.roberts The actual intended solution is to put the cube sideways so it rests against the emitter, then fire a laser into it, forming a right angled path into the catcher for however long you need it . But I'm glad you liked it!

I liked both rooms but had substantially more of a challenge with room 2. The final solution was a great "ahaaaa" moment when I remembered that you can angle a cube, pick it up into a funnel, and it will not straighten itself. This allowed me to turn off the critical fizzler for about 1/10th of a second so I could shoot a portal into it. GREAT !!!

As ussual, very good work. The only flaw I encountered is that you can bring the cube ( from the chamber where you can get the radio ) to the other chamber as than you can complete the chamber with 3 cubes. But this minor mistake doesn't effect the puzzle in any way so it is no biggy.

Your maps are enjoyable, keep it up.

Oh, you mean the in-game editor. I use the Portal 2 Authoring Tools, AKA Hammer, to make my maps, which is why there's the discrepancy.

Yeah, I'm having problems with textures xD Now that I see your image... I'm starting to think we are using different editors, I use the one that comes with Portal 2 and I can't see something like that cube :p do you use something else to create your rooms? thanks in advance!

@Vooky Birdy I'm not quite sure what you mean, I'm guessing you're having trouble applying textures to faces? See the button that looks like this? [wallworm.com] Click that, click a face (any surface), then click Browse, select a texture (often "black metal" and "white wall" ones, use that in the 'Filter' box), then click apply. Then Bob's your uncle. Pro tip - right clicking on a face after clicking the texture application tool applies the current texture to that face.

It wasn't a speedrun. I have a much better speedrun route. No need to fix I just thought you might enjoy someone being an ass and breaking your map with glitches at the only fault of valve. I suck @ life I should commit sewer side.

@tanger2b Well, it wasn't a speedrun. But I guess that's a pretty clever route. Not a whole lot I can really do to fix it either, though I doubt there's any point seeing as 1 in 500 people will do that.

@tanger2b When you say that you finished with 2 portals, do you mean the left chamber? In which case, I'm guessing you reportalled, which I couldn't avoid. The potatogun is gonna be solved soon. And the overlapping dialogue is hard to avoid, though I might extend the exit corridor for the right chamber.

@Renato Lopez Using MMSSTV's Robot 36 is how I checked it. That should work.

@Renato Lopez That's a pretty grainy image. Try it using Robot 36 and see if that works better. I figured out the SSTV encoding by myself by downloading an SSTV program, and I implemented it by turning the signal into a .wav and adding it as a custom sound.

Well, it appears to be a panel opening to some of these orange textures chambers (not the dev ones, the bts ones). Not really sure but these things on the right can be vacum tubes

Also where do you get the info to make this on a map?
