I'd love to be able to fight the other direction. Getting to fight the awakened world-snake would be wonderful.

Got my eye on this one. I had been playing around with an idea to introduce a God that is trying to stop the other gods, but humanity can't tell the difference, meaning that when he helps them out he ends up doing things that make them more able to oppose him as a consequence. If this achieves what I think is possible as proof of concept,

@timlagor Doubt is not spread directly, rather, high faith settlements bordering low faith settlements create it automatically, and since faith can't spread through awareness except through conquest in a theocracy, aware settlements will eventually spawn doubt (that grows much faster due to awareness). Since the snake can spread awareness of the hostile elder god, this can accelerate doubt creation and spread.

That being said, it is true that essentially any of the elder gods could do this, not just the snake.

Shadow can't spread through Ophanim Faith
Doubt subsides if it's not next to O Faith.

You could make the 'Snake' spread doubt but you'd have to essentially create a new god and call it the Snake. Mammon or Iastur might work better as an Ophanim foil.

Snake can spread ophanim awareness and thus doubt. Shadow can spread through awareness eventually (wards only stop certain methods) but faith is totally screwed without military conquest.

Ophanim could be an interesting challenge for the Snake.

I think the Snake would just be a bonus for an Ophanim player though. "Oh you built up a load of shadow? too kind"

Excellent idea. Now we have a proper opponent (Because ordinary humans can destroy themselves even without eldritch interference). Imagine having an ability to fight with any gods combination.

@The Swarmlord It's compatible with all the ones I have - mainly mod gods, DO+, and Names of the World - and while stuff like Living Wilds shouldn't break it too badly, I'm not 100%
