acoirac7: The reason why this mod has not been updated was because a better mod was made called Properly Rebalanced Vanilla Weapons (v1.206.032), which is up to date with the current game's version and it is an evolution of the Proper Range mod.

Hey Jonathan. I've made a version of your mod designed to be used with industrial overhaul. Right now its private and just for use on my own saves, however I was wondering whether you'd be alright with me making it public?

The mod has been updated, there are different tracer colors for pistol, rifle, gatling gun and auto cannon.

@hotdogbun64 The game does not differentiate your turrets from npc-grid's turrets. I changed the values that make these projectiles disappear after a certain distance that they travel. So the answer is yes, all turrets are affected!

All turrets will continue to detect and track according to their detecting and tracking limits, for example: A turret that can only detect and track things within 600 meters, will continue to detect and track things up to 600 meters (with this mod installed). The difference is that all the projectiles of this turret will travel a very long distance before disappearing.

So, the npc-grid's turrets will not be firing at you from a longer distance, because their 'detection range' continues the same.

To make it short: This mod changes projectiles' range, not detection range.

@Jonathan Torres i can't i use weapon core only Proper Range they have is a halo mac cannon so if you could fix that that be nice

@VS-lockon This one is already great fun, you should try it out: It is fun to bombard planet bases from orbit, or bombard enemy stations from distance with a volley of cannon fire.

Obs: I don't use weapon core, I would not know how to work with it.
