I'm left with LotB and SS4. One of them is already underway but it will require quite time.. maybe I'll leave the DLC as a final Redux game in the future, we'll see
keep up the good work
I'm not a dev, and this isn’t an FPS on the market. It’s just a free fan project where I wanted to encourage more strategic ammo use, hence the "design" choice of the ammo threshold. I get your point about the campaign getting stale—In SP, I avoided placing enemies everywhere to keep the pacing balanced and give players some breathing room. Coop is more of a chaotic bonus mode, and honestly, I didn’t expect people to play it as much as they are.
Your feedback gave me an idea: instead of a simple "Is it Coop? Then spawn extra foes," I could make enemy spawns scale dynamically with player count. Also, I might drop the ammo threshold if enough people keep bringing up these ( non-existent ) ammo issues.
As for the ammo I didn't say anything that there is not enough of it. I am just surprised that your mod has that script that makes players start with less ammo. Haven't heard of a game that discourages ammo hoarding. That's all.
As for difficulty. I didn't say it's hard. We speeded through the 2/3 of the game in 3 and a half hours so I don't think me and my buddy had any issues with difficulty. My problem is that the second half of the campaign is as tedious as vanilla guardian of time was when I played it for the first time.
Difficulty - The Coop campaign has been tested and completed in Serious by average players playing solo with no major issues;
Ammo - Ammo balance has been tested on each level on clean starts (no ammo nor secret weapons from previous levels);
"one size fits all" difficulties don't exist. If Serious is too much, consider Normal or Hard. (they have all been taken into consideration while creating this mod)
Second, i have never seen an fps game that cuts out player's ammo between levels
Third, I am currently playing the mod in coop on serious and man... this is exhausting for me and
my (much MUCH more experienced) friend. And BFE by itself is already an exhausting experience. I don't mean the mod is hard, we are just tired of all the BS
When we finish it (we've already beaten 2/3rds of the mod) I will probably stick to vanilla

P.S: ma allora esistono italiani di ottima cultura!
Author himself did a great job, had a lot of fun with this mod (I've only haven't figured out how to open closed door at "The power of the Underworld")
People asking for extra ammo are simply used to an infinite supply most modders usually provide in their maps: I'm not most modders.
Go and install the Serious Editor for Fusion and change the ammo quantity yourself, the author won't do the job for you.
Since Redux will never be an infinite ammo mod, here’s what you can do instead: play on lower difficulties, use ammo cheats, or try another mod. Please refrain from commenting further on this matter, as your opinion has been noted, deemed unfit for implementation, and frankly, ridiculous.
Ammo would be balanced even if you remove everything between levels completely, as each level was tested from clean starts and with no secrets to take advantage of. I do understand 90% of mods out there simply shower you with pseudo-infinite ammo, but Redux does care indeed about balance, it's his main selling point
I understand many players expect mods to just shower you with ammunition so you don't have to think about it and I also understand player do not know every single enemy placement and appearance on the mod, especially not on first LP so I'll take into consideration having more ammo added for next update in general locations.
I'm aware that Together Forever is especially nasty to balance in the beginning parts, as you can interchange Sniper/Laser/Rockets in most fights
Maybe I just suck idk, but I had to resort to CWM multiple times just so I would have ammo in the AR.
Once again I everyone to report bugs in the Bug reports section and suggestions in the Suggestions tab
