I don't intend on making a blind run anytime soon, but since this uses sounds to "see" would gunshots or rain make things super visible? (similar to a daredevil movie I can't remember where he can see everything when it's raining or sprinklers are going off)

I found what looks to be a small error in the Sandbox Options where there is two entries labeled Echo Strength Sneaking. Is the second entry supposed to be "Echo Strength Yelling"?

No sadly, I've moved onto modding different games for now, I will likely come back to this mod to port it to 1.4 and fix it up a tad. same with the other mod, but I am no longer focusing on this project.

Hi! Does the mod have any more problems in multiplayer? Can it be used freely in a game with friends, and there won't be a glow around the player?:spiffo:

@ace Can confirm, if you use this mod in your play through but DON'T take the blind perk, then you will not have any darkening/blurring when entering foraging mods

@ace It might, The mod uses that foraging circle for the main shader effect of the mod, although I believe I managed them to work together once, but it definitely could've broke in a more recent update.

Well, the sound of insects and birds is vastly different in the day and the night. Also the temperature noticeably drops at night. Would make more sense to replace it with a simple "Day/Night" binary clock instead of removing it.

Very cool. As a suggestion, please dont implement one of the other blind mod creators ideas to give the player pain if they shoot a gun, that was a lame idea on their part lol

There were some braille watches and clocks back then. So blind people could tell the time. Maybe a future idea :)

There is but it would require an entirely new mod page that is those two mods combined which would combine the two shaders, also because of how shaders work I heard there is a chance it will cause an unreasonable performance difference for a mod so small, but I'm not sure. Overall thought it would probably be more effort than worth, and I'd have to get permission from OnKeen to do it.

Incompatible with, I'm blind without my glasses, Myopia & Hyperopia traits with Functioning Glasses and better glasses v2, when I lose glasses blur is not showing.

disabling this mod, blur is showing again.

Sorry for taking so long, I wasn't exactly happy with this mod and knew it needed big changes, but I think I'm finally happy with at least the base of it. Next update probably will do with foraging

I'm going to have a 2.0 major update to fix alot of these issues, and finally implement the fading effect to the mod probably by monday I'm guessing. Don't know if the foraging nerfs are going to be able to make it in but lotsss of fixes.

@marley star7 Yeah. Issue is with using different language. Blind Trait Mod works it out by giving Illiterate trait after start. Maybe this will help

@ChemisterONLY this must be some leftover stuff steam hasn't deleted between updates at this point, my other two theories are are you using a different language? I have to fix a bug with that and do you have any other mods that change books? I have yet to be able to recreate this issue myself so I'm a bit lost on what could be causing it anymore lol.

I had a random thought that maybe it would be cool to add extra rare braille books. Maybe 1/100th the chance to spawn as a normal version of the same book. just a thought.

very nice concept. A few things that I will like to have: settings for how long it will take for everything to go back to black (it's too short right now).
Some impossible task most probably: zombies should be seen when they are moving as they are doing noises.
