I renamed some stars with other of their names, if you play with the UN and you are interested for roleplaying purposes

Should work with PD out of the box. I'm also working on an update/revamp that adds 100 or so systems with more updated information, and more custom systems. Right now only 7/8 systems are truly unique.

Very interesting! How hand-crafted are each of the systems themselves? Are you planning to implement planets from Planetary Diversity into the mod as an optional add-on?

It'd be extra-cool if this Sol Sector could be linked via wormholes or something to other sectors of similar size that are either randomly generated or hand-crafted that are more exotic. Could be an interesting series of mods for those who want a more bespoke Stellaris experience!

Oh I just found this yesterday, though it might just be because of my mod that changes detox from ascension perk to a rare tech. But Venus is a terraforming candidate and not a toxic terraforming candidate. Which locks it out of being terraformed unless you use cheats to fix it.

"Should be noted that some unique systems from vanilla, such as Tiyana Vek or Chor's Compass, will still spawn. Some have been modified to fit with the concept of the mod. Usually they will replace one of the 218 stars on the map." I assume they're still in because they can't be removed? If it's okay I'd like to try and make a mod or submod they gets rid of them if it's possible

tired the mod, very cool but when I created custom empire with the unique starting location civics they didnt spawn there. Eg: I started as Sols spawn humans (spawned correctly) but I made a alpha centauri civ as well but they didnt spawn. A few others also didnt spawn (all the ones near sol)

Any fixes?

Removed the extra civic point due to conflicts with other mods. This means that you'd need to use a separate mod to increase civic slots in case you need them, because this mod's starting location civics will take one slot.

Fixed some issues with galaxy map background.

OK i have solve miself my civic problem.
for the map blacked, i suspect the galaxycolor.dds in gfx/map is broken or maybe is the center.dds

so after reading your last comment LNSS, my problem with mod MP&P is logic, normaly this mod add 5 civic and now i have only 3 civic allowed. Sadly i have to remove this mod :,(

UI overhaul and a lotttt of 100 others mods enabled for me. after test only Sol sector was a problem ( i use irony mod manager so im 100% sure of that)

same bug as Ryrkra and the menu before game start was locked on 6 AI empire max ( 12 max before the bug) The bug parasite features of other mods in unnexpected ways like "more Picks & Points.

reporting a bug, theres a layer of darkness on top of the empires border and the galaxy "stardust"

Update 0.3

Civics
Removed the Leader Traits. I have replaced them with Civics which determine where in the map an empire will spawn; in order to still allow two other civics to be chosen, I have made it so empires have a default of 3 civic choices.

The 7 choosable initializers/spawn points are:
01 — Sol
02 — Alpha Centauri
03 — Luyten's Star
04 — Beta Comae Berenices
05 — Gliese 667
06 — Tau Ceti
07 — Eta Cassiopeiae

Vanilla Initializers
Modified some Vanilla initializers to avoid stuff like an extra Sol spawning, among other things.

Why choose starting system through leader traits or origins and not through the vanilla "Starting Solar System" option in the "Name & Class" tab of the empire creation screen?

Very interesting mod. Only issue I see is a lot of the star systems have the same look with each having the same outer asteroid belt. Maybe adding the vanilla systems would help? Although I see that you are planning on adding more unique initializers. Cool mod either way.

Doesn't appear to be working correctly for me, ive set sol sector sol as my start system and gave my ruler the required sol leader trait but i seem to spawn somewhere completely random in the static map each time, and see weird things like Procyon being an M class star or Altair being K class.

Actually there seems to be a bug that whenever I add several close systems as starting locations they randomly just dont work, I think them being so close is the main reason why that setup was not working.

Any chance for the original set of starting systems to be re-added, maybe as a submod? I really wanted to set up a clusterfuck of human states right by Sol, and it kinda sucks to lose the chance honestly. Would've been especially fun given Luyten's Star being a start now too.

I just tested a game with empires on Sol, Alpha Centauri, Luyten's Star, Eta Cassiopeiae and Epsilon Indi (there was a Ross 128 starter system but no ruler trait so I didn't include it) and they all spawned correctly! Thanks for the update.

I hate to mention, but I cannot seem to spawn in the proper place whilst playing Sol. I've tried both the default and the custom Sol Sector spawn, but so far no luck.

Does this modify the standard Sol System? I’d love to start in this cluster but I’m a big fan of the expanded Sol System 1000 mod. Especially with Gigastructures every body I can build a mega structure around helps.
