@Ven - I'm not seeing the error, which probably means you didn't actually get one of the updates. Try unsubscribing and resubscribing to both this and the main Ellyrion mod.

The recent update is causing my game to crash upon startup with the following error.

"The following mods cause a crash to the database: alshua_!nightelm_forests.pack

The first invalid database record is
hef_princess_lancer_dedication_nightelm1ellyrion_nightelm_spearmen_unit_cap in table character_skill_level_to_effects_juctions_tabled and pack file alshua!nightelm_forests.pack

The application will terminate now."

Updated to include the new Ellyrian Pegasus Knights and Ellyrian Silver Helms (Swords) units, granting recruitment to non-Ellyrion factions

I love the Ellyrion mod (and your others). Thanks for making this one. With respect to your "aversion to fun," my interest in more Nightelm units is less about fun and more about escape from real-life policies and procedures that govern my career. I like to just charge in with my army and mix it up in the middle of the battlefield!
