Seeing that this goes back to the early day's of mapping (and Hammer mapping), I'm sure mistakes will be made. I might be cleaning house in the future by deleting some of these old maps to make room in the Steam cloud. I could perhaps update it then upload it to TWP. But thanks for playing.

Nice if you like looking around and searching a lot and if you don't mind tricky walking and jumping. Environment is really nicely done however, compliments! I am a bit disappointed actually. Hopefully an update can be made which takes the minor mistakes out with less searching. For example, in the 'jumping hall' you can get only on the top rail by moving sideways, not straight.

Oh no, this is the first Skyferret map I ever gave a thumbs-down to! There's a place you can get stuck...on a platform near one of the fling spots. Had to start over. Also, there's place you can't step or jump off a catwalk, even though there's no railing. Nice atmospheric map with good puzzles, but those details...

There's a good chance the door functions properly and there's no bugs. What probably happened was the size I made the trigger block. I might have made it too big and if the player is "inside" it, the 'use' key doesn't work until you back away from it.

The door in the room you fling to and that locks you inside, is buggy. I assumed it was locked, but couldn't figure out where to go next. I then watched a walkthrough and realized you were supposed to be able to open the door. I tried multiple times hitting e while moving around and it finally opened....very annoying. In my case I had to stand to the left side of the door at a specific spot to open the door.

weird bug, when i loaded in the elevator didn't move. Restarted the map and it worked the second time. The doors kept getting stuck throughout the level too, I kept having to noclip through them.

That final fling was a bit too ninja for my taste, the rest was a fun exploration map. Gave me sweaty palms, apparently I have a bit of in-game acrophobia.

Hmmz... I liked the puzzle part, but couldn't play to the end. The part where you have to be that very fast to shoot a portal during flight on the right side in an office, is too much. Too little time, try to often without succeeding, no fun anymore.

@ TheWinrar .......This goes back to when I first got into Hammer. It was probably discovering the "do more" with Hammer that lead to "too much".

As a fan of most of your work, I was very disappointed with this level. It was more about navigating a confusing and frustrating map than any sort of puzzle.

Yeah, you probably had to noclip your way out. My bad. This goes back to when I first got into Hammer. I was making the mistake of putting info_player_start in the elevator before finding out the correct instance to use.

Repeat of my comment at Part 2: "This seems to load OK, but stood in lift at the start and nothing happened i.e. I could shoot gun, move, jump etc but lift doesn't move (see public screenshot under my profile)... any idea?"

had to give up in the end as doors would not open in 2 areas, not as good as the puzzle levels and a bit confusing, nice looking none the less

quaternary: LOL. If I'd of know that was going to happen I would have flagged the catapult and push entities for physics objects. That way you could watch chairs and shit get sucked up the tube. Thanks for playing.

Buggy. I too got trapped in the room where the door will not open (the one with the danger sign next to it). I portaled back to the fling room and tried again. Still no good, can't proceed. Using noclip should not be part of the solution, so I will skip ahead to part 2.

So, I just walked into a hallway and the door shut behind me and I can't open it up, but the door ahead won't open, and there's absolutely nothing else in the hall. No cracks anywhere to shoot a portal through and escape. No buttons. Nothing.

SainRose: You do not need any mod to pay this. This was made with Hammer. Elevators can have this glitch. Just restart the level, or noclip to the elevator room.

Played through both your maps and it is something you don't see often. You have your own style of how a map looks which is great and exploration seems to be the key feature you give. I loved both maps, but the second one was way better than the first one.

In your first map, the random rooms didn't made sense, as well a lot of stuff seemed to be just pilled up with randomly placed portable surfaces. Next you gaved the player to explore the map so much, which is good most of the times, but in that map, exploring something ( like jumping somewhere ) meant you have to load up your save as there is no way out. I noticed quite a lot of minor problems, but a top of that, the map is huge, it's detialed and was something new.

Overall it's a nice fling map, but the art design needs work. I even got stranded on top of a chamber at one point.

About the elevator, it's a weird bug that's been around for a while. It works perfectly though once you restart the map :P

There's one fling I'm not sure I can get...

sjm28: There is no switch for the second door. In his video, you'll notice he had to back up to open it. It's probably because I made the function triggering block too wide and if you're inside it when you press the use key, it doesn't work and you have to back up a bit. I should have made it just a few units thicker than the door.

People that play tested it at first had an issue with the elevator. I re-uploaded it and it seemed fine, but I guess it still has a glitch. Maybe I should build my own from scratch. But thanks for playing.
