Just tryna make it all flow like one seamless package
CrackaJack 13 Jan, 2024 @ 4:20am
like, smoothing the edges, making the game appear less modded no matter how much it is, right?

To an outsider, the modded content will have no barrier between itself and the base game with mods like these. When something is clearly marked as "alpha animals psycasts" it's clearly a modded addition when in my opinion its contents are good enough to be base game.

@MeatBeatMarv is pointing out that Vanilla Psycasts Expanded is a mod. So this is merging modded content with more modded content. Though I do like this mod.
MeatBeatMarv 12 Jan, 2024 @ 5:59am
i guess i'm just not seeing the vanilla in these >mods<

@MeatBeatMarv I'm trying to give people options to make Rimworld feel like one completely fluid game with no barriers or discrepancies between modded and vanilla content.
MeatBeatMarv 11 Jan, 2024 @ 8:14pm
can i ask what you mean by blurring the lines between modded content and vanilla content?

CE is so infamous for messing up compatibility, so it's usually just easier to see if the mod creator uses it or not.
But thanks for the answer.
Keep up the good work.

@Shadowpaw I do not use CE but pretty much everything i'm doing is simple XML patches and therefore shouldn't (?) interfere with it. I literally know nothing about CE so I might be totally wrong

You're creating some good mods.
May I ask if you're using Combat Extended?
Not cause I want you to or anything, just that way I'll know that all your mods will be compatible with the ones I'm using.
