When given lasers? Wait the AI knows how to use modded weapons by default? That's cool.

Its not the mod, the new AI tends to be more passive (avoiding recklessness). Especially when given lasers as the AI will try to not throw them away. Once the AI has some intel, it starts making moves.

Awesome mod, but the new AI seems to have trouble deciding what it wants to do, a lot of them simply stay put until they seem something or are a bit slow in selecting which point to go for

understandable, It's just that I was messing with the map scaling mod earlier and got a 400km diameter Canyon without far clipping issues, so I was pretty confused.

It should only happen on very large radius setting. It's just how game camera is set up with only few hundred km far plane. I found it acceptable that you don't have to see the entire map at once on the biggest map setting. Let me know if you find it infuriating I will see what I can do about it.

Is the tac view far-clip plane an issue with the mod? It seems to clip like half the map on the deployment screen.

Oh man I just played on this, and it works so well! This is incredible! If this keeps generating maps as good as the one I got this'll be my new favourite "map" by far! Literally endless variation in maps! Incredible!

I've been having a blast on the surface maps is it possible to get procedurally generated surface maps from this mod?

Not sure if it was a memory leak or what, but that log file was 100% writing the same few lines over and over, was most definitely over 300MB by the time I closed the game after a few minutes of the game freezing. When in and out of the folder and could see it increase by a few MB every couple of seconds

I did find out the reason my game was crashing when loading Canyon was actually the extended gamemodes mod but theres definitely some weird behaviour going on, some sorta mod conflict maybe

I dont have the log file anymore unfortunately, this was over a week ago

It's unlikely for a log file to reach 300MB in just a few minutes. There might be a confusion with units. Are you sure it's not 300KB? Additionally, constant writing to the log file itself is not indicative of a memory leak and is unlikely to be the cause of the game crashing in Canyon. Could you please share the log file in its entirety?

Just to add, as long the game stays open, the log is continually written to. Left open for a few minutes now and its bloated to over 300MB

Everytime I load Canyon my game crashes, looked at logs and apparently Perditio is writing the same few lines over and over. Memory leak?
