Any chance for alternative economy version? Can't play w/out alternative economy

just come back to replay sparta again and adding this mod.
still hope that someday you would come back and add more spice to sparta. maybe 2nd class thorax pikemen upgrade.

Hi! Out of curiosity, would it be possible to add a heavier skiritai/perioikoi sword unit to match other greek thorakitai sword units? Or upgrade the current Neohomoioi thorakitai with a heavier sword unit after the Nabis reforms? I believe it could be argued that under forward-thinking leaders like Kleomenes III or perhaps Nabis (moreso out of desperation in the latters case), could have implemented new training regimen or begun building their soldiery in a way more compliant to Roman military tactics and doctrine. If not from the Spartan perspective, then at least the Romans were known to have... influenced... their "allies" into using similar tactics and formations. perhaps make it unlocked via an alliance with Rome or Seleucid?
LOVE EVERYTHING about this mod so far! Hopefully this request isn't too much of a hassle?

hey Spartan Thorax Pikemen are not as good as the silver shield Thorax Pikemen! and there a second class pop. Epirus gets the same without any techs however they are noble pop aswell so that's balanced.
could you also give the cretan archers the melee and defense stat of the normal cretans? and keep the rest the same

like what if helot on hoplite hoplite

just have redundant unit cause it cool

is there an translaition mod for it

when you have a good short pike unit you don't need anything else anymore against the AI.

yeah that. every nation make super heavy cav. but sparta just go with even heavier beefer hoplite.

that and maybe a helot light armor legionaly so you have more thing to use helot with other than pike. probably mass recruit and throw them as meat shield

The Spartan Thorax Pikemen in DEI are better than Thorax Bronze Shield Pikemen but worse than the Silver Shield Pikemen. The ones in this submod are on par with the Silver Shield Pikemen stat wise, but still have a major drawback of being pop1.

@King Leonidas, yes they are better than the mercenary option, and yes they are elite like the Cretan romanized archers. But what exactly makes them better? Melee stats. Ranged combat they are pretty much all the same whether it is the Merc, the AOR, the Romanized or the one in this submod.

the Elite archers are Cretan romainzed copied archers. so they are better than the cretans you can hire as mercs.

How are the Spartan thorax pikemen different than the ones in the base mod?

I love your mod but it seems new units are not affected with weapon damage increase buff (like from skills) Could you fix it?

Might wanna slightly up the "elite" archer range, its lower than that of Helot archers

There might be some problem with the recruitment of the Neodamodes Phalangitai too, since I cant seem to recruit them. Though after fiddling with the rpfm, I can. As is, not sure if my fiddling fixes it, or it just needs a new campaign

I play the german version. There are no nemes shown. Is there a way to display the names of the new units?
