PLEASE UPDATE
SMUG_EN 16 Jun @ 7:07pm
Big sad. This mod was the core of what I want my setup to be. The idea of stockpiling resources was a big part of the interwar period, and the new resources made some really interesting mechanics. Hopefully we will eventually see something that integrates these ideas.

Soviet The Cat Thing 29 Apr @ 6:50am
Is there a set date for when this will be continued?
Im sorry to say but im pretty sure this mod is broken the icons overlap eachother in the state building construction menu and seem outdated even when it is the only mod loaded or loaded in the modpack

Is it possible for coal and grain to be labeled as "Needed" in the resource tab for better referencing?
UncleSamuel 28 Oct, 2024 @ 4:42am
That's a great mod, but it makes Kaiserredux/Kaiserreich almost predictable as French Commune doesn't have enough coal to stand against Germany which has like tons of it
Skalitz eBoy 12 Oct, 2024 @ 2:28am
‘***IMPORTANT*** - Pressing the coal and grain icons in the stockpile window will bring up a resource display on the top bar

Mine resources don’t show up. Anyone has the same problem?
grimreapershoots 25 Sep, 2024 @ 8:10pm
Does toolpack+ compatible with this?
HKO2006 (no mic) 22 Sep, 2024 @ 9:08pm
Thank you for making this mod. I have always liked game mechanics that reflect different aspects of wars, like the manpower system in HOI so you cant just spam out units like Total War as long as you have money. But food is not represented in HOI even though it was an important factor like in ww1 germany food shortage and ww2 japan food shortage
GhostWarrior 1 Sep, 2024 @ 10:39am
Ah it is updated. Nice
Fire Whisperer 30 Aug, 2024 @ 5:23am
this can be fixed by adding a new buiding that produces grain like the the fuel refinery does, lowering the grain consumpsion or increasing storage
Fire Whisperer 30 Aug, 2024 @ 5:10am
the ammount of grain countries have is just way to low. makes it hard to play smaller nations and it a great pain to germany even if you annex all of europa
Full Spade 27 Aug, 2024 @ 12:47pm
Sadly this makes playing minors impossible, otherwise would be a fun mod
Hunta 22 Aug, 2024 @ 5:38am
whats up with the trading
WAFFEL E100 21 Aug, 2024 @ 11:09am
yes, that feature would be nice and it would make playing countries in regions that completley lack coal and oil like scandinavia much less of a sisyphean task when trying to build any ammount of industry
Amine Alkaline  [author] 21 Aug, 2024 @ 7:30am
no, but thats an interesting feature to add
WAFFEL E100 21 Aug, 2024 @ 6:24am
does building nuclear reactors reduce the coal requirements to power factories?
dimcoe 11 Aug, 2024 @ 5:38am
I did some testing, and it seems that Resource Wars must be disabled together with Civilian and Military Laws, otherwise the game crashes.
Amine Alkaline  [author] 10 Aug, 2024 @ 2:51pm
I dont know yet
dimcoe 10 Aug, 2024 @ 10:36am
By the way, are there dependencies between this mod and some other one in the collection? If I try to disable it while keeping the others enabled, the game crashes after choosing the country
Mr_Melnyk 8 Aug, 2024 @ 9:35am
Cool mod. However I would advice adding coal resources to Yuzivka and Starobelsk regions in Kaiserreich, and overall add more grain resources to Eastern Europe overall, while reducing that of Germany, to represent Germany's dependence on Eastern European satellites in mod. This would motivate Germany player to fight over lands and not just retreat behind the rivers to stop Russia.
Also the guy below me is right, I too can't understand how resource stockpiling works.
dimcoe 4 Aug, 2024 @ 12:14pm
Great collection of mods!
I'm a bit unclear about the stockpiling mechanic: I have rubber in the stockpile and a small trade deficit. When I try to produce something that requires rubber, I get the warning that the production will be slowed due to lack of resources. I would expect this not to be the case as long as there is rubber in the stockpile. Am I missing something?
Regarding the AI coal use issue mentioned below, does it also affect historical runs? I just started one, so if this nerfs other countries too much I might restart without this mod.

Amine Alkaline:
My thoughts on AI not using I would think when it came to decisions to use ideas there would be a line of code to say the chance the AI does it with some qualifiers like for when short on resources, weaker industry, losing a war and so forth.

If you create a reddit post on r/hoi4modding and tag me. I have the same user name. I am mostly self taught but sometimes a second eye is just what is needed.
Amine Alkaline  [author] 6 Jul, 2024 @ 1:42am
the original author is gone, so i kinda lost the strategic objectives of this mod is supposed to do
any suggestions to solve your issues ?
SMG Guy *Ask me to throw guns* 5 Jul, 2024 @ 6:00pm
I really wanted to like this mod but AI really doesnt play well with it. From observing a non historical map:

- Half the nations in the world are in a coal shortage and have massive debuffs to production
- The AI never changes whether it shuts down occupied factories, so countries like Germany are a lot weaker than they're supposed to be
- AI never seems to buy the two custom resources even if they lack them
Wingnut 23 Jun, 2024 @ 6:47am
When i activate the decision to expand grain production the location changes. Is this bug known?
Darp 17 Jun, 2024 @ 7:03pm
I hate how the uniforms, ammo, and rations, were removed from the whole original idea of the mod. Can you bring them back
Daddy Spaghetti 8 Jun, 2024 @ 1:24am
Brilliant mod, but can i suggest a comparability fix with two of my fab mods?
