I'm sure it's possible and it's a great idea. Problem is that I'm currently not familiar with how to implement a slider. It's probably an easy thing to do, though.

Pretty glorious mod so thank you for that 🙌🏻 I don’t suppose a slider would be possible to alter speeds in game? Sprint is just a TAD bit fast for me unfortunately.

Not really sure what the cause of that bug would be and don't think it's related to player movement speed.

Works fine! The new update "Age of Heros" didn`t break this mod. No more running animation during slow walk. TX

I had meant to get back into the devkit this month about that other detail but something came up. And uh. Well. I'll just say it - the War For Freedom rages on.

A couple weeks ago, I purchased a license to install Heckdivers 2 on our PS5s. My son and I joined the war effort. We are having a blast.

Just wanted to say thank you so much for this mod. It's a godsend. I'd gotten so used to the annoying running when walking bug that I'd forgotten how much better the game is without it. Sooo good. Such a relief. Much better than anything in funcent's updates. A million thanks!

@Noxsa, I tried to get back into this game. I really did. But then the developers released a "hotfix" that screwed up the sprint toggle. However, I did take a look through the devkit about your query. Haven't quite figured it out but, from the looks of it, I'll need to do some animation blending. Since I don't subscribe to any modding discords, I'll have to figure that out on my own. At present, I'm out of time for that. I'll take another look in May.

@Robcat, the update before last ruined controller and target lock gameplay for me. To answer your question, this mod still works great. And, with the most recent Conan update, the unrelated gameplay issues I was previously having seem to be fixed so I'll eventually get back into this game.

I don't mind looking into it again, but I have been avoiding this game since the last update broke it for me. If they fix the camera issues for target lock in the next update coming soon, I'll be back.

And no, your request didn't seem demanding at all. But I get why you put up the disclaimer. Too many self-important mod authors around here that get up in arms about requests or suggestions.

I'll post an update in this comment section, if I achieve anything. But don't get your hopes up that it will be soon. I have a brand-new baby girl that's gonna be born any day now, our second child. After my leave time for that and before my vacation mid April, I might have some time to take another look. Maybe.

@Noxsa, this mod doesn't directly edit any animations or blueprints, which is what would be required to achieve what you're looking for. To avoid incompatibility issues that can come with that, I definitely wouldn't add that to this mod.

However, I have already considered it once, because the walking animations with anything equipped are definitely atrocious. But I would make it a separate mod.

I've seen your name here and there. If you played this game in the past, there was a wonderful mod that addressed this issue. I think it was called Third Person Animation Tweaks. But it sadly died. I wanted to bring back some of the aspects of that mod for personal reasons. I even looked into it but didn't get very far because I was working on a different mod.

this mod mostly changes animations right? can i ask you if you would concider adding a "walking with torch out" animation, it frustrates me to hell and back, that the devs forgot the walk with stuff, instead we get the "poop your pants stance faster walk with stuff in hands" wat annoys me, you have no idea.
