so there's a 1.5-compat branch on HAR revia's github.
as far as i can tell its perfectly functional with the exception of
- ear render doesnt work
- with this mod the tails are a bit displaced
would it be possible to fix both of these with this mod, or is that outside of its scope?

Any chance you'd be willing to set up this retexture to work with Melee Animations? I know the base mods are compatible, but due to the way Melee Animations works retextures do need to be made compatible separately. I'll also make a comment about this on Melee Animations itself since I know the author patches mods themself as well.

On a side note, this is purely my own opinion, but I think the Red Inquisitor's hilt looks too short for the length of its blade, giving it a somewhat disproportionate look. Such a long single edged blade would probably look better with a slight curve to it, and since the scourge also has a slight curve I think it would give the weapons a more unified style as well.

Really great job with the retexture, though, its nice to finally be able to use Revian gear (or see it in Revian raids) and not have it look completely out of place in the base game. I wasn't sure how I felt about the fluffiness of the tail texture at first, but it really grew on me

Great retexture! Looks like South-facing single tail might be missing the white tip mask, though. Everything else is looking stellar! :steamthumbsup:

Forgot to mention the ears only float above head when used with NL Facial Animation, but it wasnt like that before today's update.

So it turns out that the tail position adjustment patch doesn't do anything. According to the mod author of Better Gene Graphics Framework, the way the Revia tails are implemented doesn't rely on GeneDefs, but hediff files instead. So it will take the values from the Soulreap Tier1, 2, 3, etc files rather than GeneDefs_Revia.xml. This is an issue because the hediff files only have one offset value for north, south, east, meaning no finetuning for different body types.

Also after playing around in Character Editor a bit it seems like the tail position for 1-5 tails is off-center.

I noticed that the patch to fix the body addon offsets wasn't loading. It has to be put in a Patches folder inside the Biotech folder. However, I keep getting a patch operation fail error whenever I load up the game.

NOTICE! for thoes wondering if they will update. as far as i know the mod works as intended. no errors with the biotech version of revians and the visuals. it only screams at ya about version miss match thats all. its a texture mod after all. as long as its bases are combatable with anom so too is it

Would it be possible to have the pawn retexture and weapons / item retextures separate, or would I need to figure out how to separate them on my end? Personally I'm rather fond of the simple tail style and would like to keep that, but I love the retextures for the other things!

I think those ears may be getting a bit too large for pawn heads overall, not just the ear hair, but that's a slight issue with base Revia too IMO. Thankfully it is more of a personal nitpick as they look pretty damn great in the actual game anyway. It's amazing to see a retexture for the entire mod. I didn't even think of looking for a retexture for their unique weapons and items before, but admittedly some of the original designs looked more like a... placeholder to say the least. Thank you for your work.
