Glamour is really more unnatural stealth, I don't think any of the other sneaking animals get that. I'll probably settle on Nature for compatability with future nations. But I could look into an E summon given they're mountain animals. Glamour might make sense for some west coast monsters that appear like a cougar but use trickery to lure in prey.

I like this mod just tried it recently! A question though is I think it would beat neat to have more cougars available for recruit or to summon would that be possible to add to the mod?

Sadly the poison barb effect can't be tweaked, so swords could entirely ignore it. They do have a special weapon for the quill effect, like all porcupines.But this is sadly an area of modding that is a little limited.

The cougars look fine in the code and no other players have reported it so I chalk that up to a mod conflict, which mods are you running?

Could you give the big porcupines poison barbs? It just doesn't make sense that they don't have them...

Also, it might be a mod conflict, but my cougar lady soldiers aren't actually shapeshifting

I can try, not all of them have a lot of lore to draw from. They're generally more characters in stories than rich beings with a well documented background in English sources. But I'll try and insert some more character into them.

Thank you for this, it's a really great nation. I also really appreciate the attention that went into making some Native sprites for the rainbows.

One question: could you add to some of the descriptions of the summons? It'd be cool to see their mythical flavor.

Thanks, I wouldn't call myself an expert or anything. I'm acutely aware of the blind spots in my knowledge. But I try to treat every culture I represent with the respect it deserves.

As for the ID conflicts, I'm gonna try and work with Casus Belli to reduce them in the future. Once multiplayer with mods rolls around they should work together.

All my nations are in the 8000 ID range so far. Mine was uploaded first so it was hard to predict the ID line was also going to be used by another... Luckily the nations are in entirely different eras so running both at once accomplishes nothing.

I can confirm the summoning spell can't be cast in provinces that are plains + mountain but it works fine in mountains and highlands. I'm legit stumped how to fix this.

Happy to hear you're enjoying the nation. I sometimes go way to hardcore with the names. Gonna push a minor patch that unlocks a pretender that wasn't properly unlocked. I forgot to set her starting dominion.

Thanks! Lovely mod btw. I can't for the life of me remember the units names but I do greatly enjoy them. The sprits are awesome I love the giant porcupine rolling animation, the moos are just great, having acess to all magic paths is reaaally good(if you can get all summons), the summons are just amazing, overall I really liked this nation. Just have to have another spin at it after I finish the campaign I'm in and try to keep my heroes alive as the only survivor is the Spirit of the Dead

Hmm that might be the result of the new terrain mechanics of Dom6 not catching up with the modding commands. Mountain + plains wasn't a possible combination in Dom5. I have to look into that how to make it work so it won't fire in all the plains.

Fixed, it was a porting error. He used to have a cold AoE attack from the frostbrand but that got replaced with a javelin. He no once again chills his enemies.

Enjoying it a lot - especially how most of the little guys have pocket sand. Makes them surprisingly effective fighters (if you can keep them from running away).

If they're harmed sufficiently they should turn into cougars. The tag only works on commanders.

I like the mod, sprites are beautiful. There is plenty of engrish though, "The Pukwudgie loving trick and traps" and so on. Could use a check.
