Can you update some scripted triggers?

Add

is_building_type = building_ef_private_construction

to tesla_construction_sector_valid_for_improvement_trigger

And handle

is_building_group = bg_bank
is_building_group = bg_financial_centre
is_building_group = bg_national_stockpile
is_building_group = bg_ef_private_construction

in tesla_building_valid_for_mechanical_improvement_trigger

So my engineers would be able to upgrade private construction centre and wouldn't financial buildings from E&F

@BaronHarald if you open up the debug console, type in "fasthire" without quotation mark and run for 1 week, it will force the Stock Exchange to hire and start working again. Just turn off "fasthire" after 1 week. Seem to be a bug that a lot of people have

Any idea why my stock exchange (shanghai) does not hire even though it is insanely profitable? There are enough workers and all but still only 8 work at the exchange

@Jeff.Mathis.24: That is a known vanilla bug. Sometimes reloading works, especially if you load the game, wait in the start menu and then load after some time.

Otherwise you can use the keys "M", "Ctrl + A" and "Ctrl + S" to access the menus.

@satsuki that's strange it doesnt give this problme to me. are you using ani other mods? explain more the problem to me... are art studios and universities working as intended? cause im not sure it is a problem of conflicting pms for morgen

For some reason, railways aren't generating stock. Just want to make sure Morgenrote's PMs didn't do something to block it?

@ngale the problem lies in using 2 different patches that are not compatible together: if you want to use T&R + E&F * Morgen, luckily for ,u I made a patch for all 3 mods that should resolve your compatibility problems and let u play with all 3

with this and E&F enabled I can't find the option to change university or art production methods to the different types (math, natural, etc) from morgenrote. The option just isn't there. removing this and E&F resolves it. Also have the tech and res patch for E&F. Load order is as you listed with the patch at the very bottom of my load order

I noticed that "Motor Industries" has the option "Automobile Production" activated from the start (which can not be deactivated) - this option needs rubber, but rubber is not available till much later in the game, so there is a permanent engine shortage since none can be produced.

Hiring foreign scientists in multiplayer causes the game to desync.
This is compatible with Economic and Financial Mod (E&F) - V4 (update for 1.8) due to the new update of Morgenröte - Dawn of Flavor?

Incompatibility issue:

"if the variables return to 0 it is because the event: 101_ef_on_create_market_variables_economy_event
101_ef_on_create_market_variables_financial_event
101_ef_on_create_market_variables_stockpile_event
102_ef_on_create_market_variables_state_event
trigger in an unwanted manner due to compatibility issue."

@Lord R: I did not, though I did also discover another bug where everyone's reserve currencies and gold parity value was being wiped out every 5 years.

Fortunately the dev fixed that one immediately. Hopefully he'll fix the one I mentioned below, too, so that there's no need to change this mod at all.

@LuuBluum: Oh boy. If you bother them anyways, could you mention that they should not overwrite "on_production_method_changed" and instead use a custom on_action? It's a minor thing I noticed while going through the files.

@Lord R: I have a fix. You need to copy and overwrite the four event files that set starting variables for newly-created countries (they are all one event per file and the files all start with 101 or 102), and add to the otherwise-empty trigger block that not = { has_variable = coal_release_quantity }

It's a bug with the base mod, but seems to only show up when other mods are loaded as well. I'll bother the dev of E&F to see if they can add it to the mod so that this isn't an issue in the future.

Yeah specifically @Lord R it looks like there's a mechanism in place in E&F to set variables for newly-formed countries that's getting called on every country in the game. It specifically hinges on whether or not coal_release_quantity has been set as a variable.

Looks like 00_ef_on_create_market_variables_state_event is the event overwriting all the gold reserves in the central banks. It doesn't get called in E&F when run by itself.

Yeah, only these three mods, and when I uninstalled the compatch and Morgenröte and just used E&F, there was no issue.

It looks like everyone's gold reserves are getting wiped out, making their national currencies worthless. It looks like a variable is being overwritten, maybe? The gold reserves aren't being depleted; just wiped out entirely.

Just generally try to unsubscribe and resubscribe to the three mods and make sure that the load order is correct. If all of that is the case and it still happens, I will look into it more.

I think this needs another update, because after giving it a shot I'm now dealing with all the world's trade evaporating a few months into a new game.

Simply start a new game as anyone (I've been trying Great Britain), do nothing, and watch the import trade route menu. Within a few months every single import trade route option will disappear, and any that you had will become inactive.
