Greetings, I can't find my discussion on steam but here is the layout:

3 questions:

1. Help with timeline, which campaigns is first, second and etc.
2. I remember DeadCity was a campaign back for first L4D, these others were only made for second game?
3. Why there's no collection with all your campaigns of this series? Would be easier to download them in one click

One thing I love is when other can add to custom level designs instead of all this zombie hated disease they spread like a virus. I am so grateful for your work. I really like to see others download this mod to the Dead City Series.

Really like those custom sounds, L4D1 DeadCity was done 15yrs ago with professional DJ & Mixer.

@ilcannibal I have done it, its a rough draft and i will change a few for the Workshop version that i am working on it right now (mostly the finale or some stage)
here's Part 1, this has stage 1-5. i have to part 2 because i have a 8 player mods that soft-lock the finale on stage 6

路线设计的很有意思,有难度,全程是没有任何指向提示的,所以容易迷路,感觉特感的AI难度也提升了,救援关3波坦克呈倍数增长(1/2/4),索性屋顶很大,能绕开,整体体验感很不错!PS:无意间发现救援关的BUG点位,分享给大家,嘿嘿~就在中间的长方形小屋顶,有两个木箱子,上面放着燃烧瓶补给,站在有燃烧瓶的木箱子上就可以啦,可以快速通关救援!!!

This first time since vpk 15 to "newest updated" well noted that bug you mention was fixed. Regarding city, many have their own opinions that is to say just only an opinion. Clearly you are the only one that mentions is fake, besides it is only a video game that many enjoy to play.

There's good and bad. The combat is challenging with more zombies in each wave, but if you have a functional team you can pull through because resources are plenty to sustain you. The bad is that the city feels fake and also there is a bug in Chapter 5 that if you close the safehouse door again you'll be locked from going outside again. Due to this bug I can't continue my playthrough.

hey i think i found bug or maybe something,
In chapter 2 for some reason AI bot just doesnt wanna shot or defend himself when get attack by zombies

or maybe bcs i was using 'left 4 bot' an improvement bot ai script from workshop

either way someone might check on of these case, thanks

I saw that you posted to someone here the order of the series (Original and Introduction Gameplay), I apologize that I didn't understand the true order here but may I get the exact timeline to play this series? Like which one of these two gameplay I should start with first? Thank you

@Yabi , try to play without 8-player plugin. This campaign has L4D1 survivors in action too, though they're just supporting characters that give cover fires like in The Passing.

@Dafish , I just tested yesterday when seeing the update of this one, but somehow I could still find the doorway without problem. There are other custom campaigns that are way more complicated, & this one is still not difficult to find the paths as long as you explore carefully. & about the finale, I think it's still balanced (& probably a bit OP for me when I use some elite bot mods, as even L4D1 survivors would hunt zombies & leave me almost nothing to shoot :steamhappy:). I usually camped near the radio, as the helipad is not that far from there. You can try that camping spot if you find difficulty on the finale. Don't forget to juggle items & weapons so if the gun runs out of ammo, just pick one of the juggled guns.

the doorway on the street at the finale is so dark, dont expect everyone to find it without highlight or landmarks (not to mention u have to fight off the horde on your tail while finding the way)

We can't please everyone which is impossible, I am glad you still played. Regardless, we all our own opinions.

I see "desserts" is stressed backwards, we only go forward as we learn so many differences.

Finale is where the the Joy goes out, there were barely landmarks and when we reached the helicopter site, it took 2 minutes to realize the supplies and ammo are in the corner, horde spam on this chapter is crazy cuz its very hard to navigate where to go while fighting off the horde in a VERY open space area

the rest of the campaign is good but the finale is just "a bad dessert after the main meal"

"When the tick on the Linux server is greater than 85, it will get stuck in map 1 and the opening animation cannot start the game normally" (с) I have the same issue, map stops after initial cutscene, but if you respawn survivors through admin menu it can be played

10/10 me and my 3 other friends were playing this map, and one of them started spamming clown zombies throughout the streets, and the rest of us just started hearing squeaks through the streets coming closer and closer :steamhappy:
