For a basic guide to make this compatible with others, it would be load up their mod in FCS and click the "CHANGES" button to see what was done. Anything that's been changed will show up in green text. Merge the two mods (MERGE MOD button), and add or change my MC races the same way you see the other base race changes being made. Then save to your mod folder located in the Kenshi game directory (not workshop) under a new name. Pretty simple and straightforward.
Lastly, not so much for my mod since I just changed stats, but make sure you give love to the other creator's mod pages when you do this sort of patch as often enough you'll need to uninstall the original to prevent further conflicts.
For the hairstyles, I was never aware. All base game hairstyles were included with the original creation of the mod. I verified it wasn't something just on my end by downloading from the workshop and opening it as if it was another creator's work. All base hairstyles are included in the MC races in the FCS. All hair styles work fine on my end in game as well.
To get into a little more detail, the MC characters are basically copy and pasted versions of the base game races with stat modifications made. Everything was left original except for the specific changes made in the mod description.
As stated by Reeva!, there could be mod conflicts. If you use modded hair or any other modded additions to races such as animations, those will not apply to the MC's. This can be very easily corrected in the FCS on a case by case basis.
As for hairstyles, I assume the same logic applies.

That being said, I haven't tested so I'm not 100% sure.
After testing out Self Healing, I believe it's perfect for the nature of this mod. When you're damaged Self Healing will start to heal your body where you would normally need bandaging. However it's still possible to sustain too much damage and lose blood or degrade faster than the self healing. This means it's more difficult to die, but still possible.
I also upped the healing rate on the MC's. This is noticeable after you're bandaged, but REALLY apparent once you make it to a bed. I wouldn't mind a little feedback whether the healing is too OP or not.
For the healing, that's a great point. Currently it's a task to heal up the extra health.
I'd noticed when editing there is a direct healing rate stat to work with and I also noticed a self healing (wolverine-ish I believe) stat that I wanted to test out that may balance things out as well. My worry is that it would be too OP if I'm not careful so let me test a bit and get that taken care of.
