@Decode.exe I'll look into it next time I work on the mod. Ty for the info. (it'll be a while before this mod gets updated again so for now I recommend just playing without it)

Ok: here's the issue: It may just be an incompatibility with mod - "Secrets of the shadows" But, to replicate: host a multiplayer world and with the F8 menu ~ you can see how packet 23 starts to get in the red real soon. taking damage from an enemy quickens this. This is not a problem by itself of course but when you start adding more and more mods ontop of the play-through, you start tanking frames like up to atleast 15% of em' on average.

I mean, myself (and others) have played it with bigger content mods and experienced no issues. I'm not doubting there's a problem on your end but I think it's a specific issue and until I can pinpoint the exact issue and replicate it there's nothing I can do (and it's probably not worth my time to go searching for it either, considering there seems to be only one instance of the problem). Thank you for reporting it, though.

i see... well mayhaps there was many things that caused these issues.. IDK but personally as a heads up, your mod as it is may not be so compatible with other bigger content mods since what is true from my end was performance issues (not things breaking per say) but just that i`m not sure to keep it in multi player. Thanks for developing your mod anyway ~ Ill have to try it again in future.

@Decode.exe I haven't encountered or seen any of the issues you're referring to, tbh (and you're the only one who's reported them). I'll try some testing when I get around to it but until I can replicate the lagspikes you're experiencing there's not much I can do

I am testing this heavy modpack i have made and i disabled yours during my tests TRYING to figure out what was sending excessive packets in F8 multiplayer dubug console and it didnt disable your Easy Packets Library mod during these tests. I got punched in the stomach.

But yeah... your mod has some concerning performance issues be it with minimum mods with it or alot. BUT when used by itself, its not present until you receive damage, then this issue spikes...
Spent 3 hours on that.

PS: This issue also doubles when with mod - "Secrets of the shadows"

hmmm... im doing some more testing for a modpack im trying to configure for my friend group and found that at least with this modlist ~ just with wisplantern enabled causes a 4~6 dip in frames on average. This is nit-picky i know but just thought to put it out here... My mod list is quite large (QoL mods) so mayhaps its a random incompatibility. I can send the mod list if needed.

I love your mod and have been using it wherever i use remnants to make a completely vibrant world. Unfortunately, i cant comment on the other "non-atmospheric" portions of your mod since I dont really interact with them, zweihanders will always be dope though ~ but i agree with the comments below, your event/weather/world gen stuff is awesome and having that separate may be useful to others..? personally, i would prefer that option ONLY because it makes mod debugging for me as a user easier when using a custom modpack. But your mod is most unique in that there are practically no other mods that have these cool passive atmospheric events.

@Corrupted Slime that's kind of a good point, tbh. I kind of agree for the events and a few of the worldgen things in particular (although a lot of wisplantern's worldgen stuff is already in "Microdungeons and More"). I think there's a good chance I'll move snowfall and calm night to their own mod focused on weather events; snowfall actually originally came from a weather focused mod so I'd moreso just be porting a mod of mine from the 1.3 era.
I'll probably keep the weapons in the same mod as the minibiomes and wisplanterns since I'm planning on making them more related anyhow. Thanks for the feedback!

Frankly, I would also move all the 'heavy' content from this mod (mainly the new weapons) to that separate mod too and make this one focused on environmental stuff like the worldgen addons, decorations, wisplanters, music, calm night, snowfall, etc.
Currently, the mod feels a bit disjointed.

@鲜花留给老妈 As of currently, there isn't away to remove them from a weapon other than replacing them. When the next update for the mod releases, battle arts will be moved to a separate mod and various issues like this will be fixed with them along with that. Sorry about that, there should definitely be a way of removing them.

Regarding battle arts, I would like to know how to remove them from the weapons. By the way, the classical music during the peaceful night is very pleasant.

Could possibly have something throwable that sits on the ground similarly to a spike ball, doing contact aggravation?

Prior to discovering the Rad disc, I had only ever really seen the basic metal hooks, I had not happened to have had the ingredients for the other biome hooks while crafting

Also: I've noticed that the lush grass doesn't get destroyed by bombs, even when the material behind it does.

@DisKorruptd which canes are you using? By the time you get radiation disk, you can also craft a cane with jungle materials, pandemonium, and hellstone, all of which are comparable in speed and equal/better in power. I do agree that there should be more unique manipulative weapons like the radiation disk, though. I'll probably also add some aggravating incantations

Definitely need more weapons like the Radiation disc. That, or the hooks need buffing... trying to trigger an enemy for like 50 hits vs tossing out 2-5 rad discs to rapidly enrage enemies with overlapping regions is significantly better Trying to use the hooks gets me enraged faster than the enemies.

Just published the update! It fixed many of the issues reported in this comment section, made Wisplantern significantly more compatible with multiplayer (including some multiplayer oriented additions), and added a plethora of new content. Enjoy!

But could you add an option to disable the "battle arts don't work on this item" text?

Cause it basically shows up on all other weapons if you play with extra mods

Im pretty sure you "Fancy Caves" (Lush caves) Breaks with mod: Advanced World Gen, But that being said, I have plenty of other mods that add to world gen, but they play nice with eachother...

I don't mean to be alarming with this comment, just a heads-up to those in similar position.

i like it, the new class is a very unique take that i havent seen yet. Any way I can plant my own lush grass, it doesnt seem to spread or drop seeds? Also there doesnt seem to be a music box for calm moon

HI! Just noticed that there is a slight bug involving the Old One's Army event. Wisplantern seems to cause enemies not to spawn in unless you are standing right next to the portals, and nearly completely disables the Betsy spawn in the hardest version. Figured I would try to bring this to your attention here since the invite to the Discord server doesn't seem to work anymore.

Consider the following feature: a layer of thin ice that appears on water during a snowfall. It can be walked on, but jumping will shatter it (a new sound effect is needed here). The ice disappears shortly after the snowfall ends.

Nice mod, but seems to break the Old One's Army event. The portals will appear, but enemies only spawn if you're standing right next to them. Disabled all other mods, so I'm sure it's this one.

A few other mods have had this issue before. I think it's related to mobs targeting the crystal over the player, which is why they disappear if you get too far away.

@StarLightShadows the wisplanterns aren't supposed to have 300 health. I'm guessing there's some sort of mod conflict/interference that it causing them to have extra. The ore increases your mining speed as you mine it, allowing you to dig faster for a bit.

I can't figure out this mod. The WispLanterns themselves only take one damage every time I hit them and have 300 health so I could never possibly fully kill them. And I have no idea what the weird glowing blue ore that doesn't drop any items is supposed to be.
