Thank you for the great mod — I'm really enjoying using it.
I have a question regarding the pager feature. When I equip the pager on my belt and press the F key, it activates. However, this seems to conflict with the lantern I have attached to my bag, as the lantern no longer responds to the shortcut key.
Is there a way to change the pager’s hotkey or disable it entirely?

If there are 100 types of events, the probability of occurrence is 1%.
There is a debugging function that allows you to set certain event codes to occur.
Ah, normally you can't change the settings in single player.
I think there was a MOD that allowed you to change the settings in single player...

If the event description fails to load due to an error, the log file may contain some hints.

The reason why I did not implement a mechanism to trigger events at random coordinates is because this mod is made for multiplayer servers.
On multiplayer servers, the coordinate situation can change due to various circumstances, and the occurrence of an event may cause a CTD.
For example, I considered a mechanism to check whether the coordinates are safe every time an event occurs, but I prioritized reducing the processing load and did not implement it.
These may be acceptable in single player, but it is necessary to check the safety of coordinates when an event occurs.

Also just to check, if I have more than one event file running does the mod choose from all event options? For example if I had a custom event file with 80 events and the vanilla with 20 events, the chance to run Any event is 1%?

I've added custom events to the vanilla_event but those new events do not happen.

Is it possible to implement a system where my current location is tracked, and events occur only within a predefined area that I set?

I've already seen examples on GitHub where coordinates are specified, but rather than targeting a specific place, I want to limit the event occurrence to the city I'm currently in (or sometimes a nearby city), rather than the entire world.

There is no difference in performance between the colors.
You only need one
I think it's a good idea to have two in case the battery runs out.

Yes. You need to change that.
I've never used zomboid with Gportal, so I don't know, but if you can transfer the file to the specified location using an FTP application, you should be able to add it.

if the server is using a hosting service (gportal) do i need to make changes to the host files? (if i wanna try adding new coordinates). Amazing work.

I'm only now looking into the issue but my players are only being sent to a few of the locations over and over again. Any idea why this might be happening? I've not edited any of your locations.

This mod is very very good. Would you consider adding an option that makes each sent quest is unique for every individual so 10 people aren't going to the same quest?

I'd like to re-purpose this to make a "pizza delivery job" for a Life RP server, but if each employee gets the same "quest" it causes conflicts with 10 people competing for the "quest"

We will soon add the ability to reward vehicles.
Once vehicles become a reward, there is no need to delete map cells to add new vehicle mods :)

Here are some ideas my server settings.

- Removed all cassette tapes from loot tables, limiting them to Treasure Hunt rewards only

- Use "They Knew MOD" so that it can only be obtained from random=random (collection rate will be several hundred times less)

- Use cosplay zombies Mod and making them spawn only in the Treasure Hunt Horde

20/10, amazing mod. Can anyone tell me what "event start chance" and "event wait tick" numbers are good for a hardcore difficulty, cause i get a mission with tons of items everytime i check monitor. Thank you Tankp0p0

Thank you very much for making this mod! I used it to add a new messages from reoccurring characters so the game doesn't feel lonely on single player. It gives the impression that the others are just always outside of base ^w^

We are all patiently waiting for B42..
But for now Its nice to see a mod that is an admin tool, this opens so many doors for content creation to make servers unique.
Also we are running this with 250+ mods on a public server with zero conflicts/issues the players are really enjoying it!

Areas set by players as safehouses will be avoided

However, if it is outside the area of the safe house, an event will appear even if it is directly next to it, and zombies will enter the house.
So, the preset coordinates do not include locations near buildings that can be converted into Safehouses

Event coordinates are also set up at garbage dumps in commercial facilities, hospital corridors, etc., so if commercial facilities are also servers that can be turned into safe houses, you may need to review the coordinates.

I am also planning to publish the coordinates for the MOD map, but it will take some time.

I would be happy if the person who first registered the coordinates made it public for everyone to use.

Only one bag containing rewards can spawn.
Regarding weight limits,
I haven't tested the limit, but it will fit even if I exceed the capacity.
I think it's probably unlimited.

one more thing, is there a weight limit/ item number limit that can fit into an inventory item that spawn? for example, if a suitcase has max weight capacity of 10, is it possible to put 1000 stones? (more than 10kg)

@tanp0p0 thank you for this amazing mod. I have one question about your mod though, even after I read your provided tutorial. It didn't mention about rewarding more than 1 bag item (filled with other items) as the reward. Is it only possible to spawn 1 bag filled with items per quest? or is it possible to spawn more than 1?

It seems like it could be done just by filling a bag with items that resemble survivors and having a zombie walk around carrying them.

I think it is possible to generate an event where armed NPCs appear by linking with a wonderful MOD called NPC framework.
And it should be a great Zomboid experience

However, this MOD has not yet reached my ideal completed form, so I would like to finish it first :)

This is amazing, i wonder if someone could rework it into a more singleplayer focused event that spawns in the "Reward zombies" as survivor zombies, and the pagers are replaced with maps that lead towards the location. i would love to come across a zombified survivor with a radio and a little bit of gear, follow the map, and come across a band of zombified survivors/bandits.

Though, this is a grand idea, and i doubt that it would be easy to code.

Is it possible to remove the light coming from the pager, the light is flickering while driving and it makes everyone a little dizzy.
