I am late to the party but thank you for the mod <3

Thanks for the wonderful work! Though I would have loved to hear some from earlier titles like Path of Radiance and Genealogy, any FE project making their way to other games via mods is a welcome addition. ^_^

Just a quick correction, the new Playlist is actually on SoundCloud, not Spotify. The link is still the correct link!

Version 4.0 Update:

This update adds 47 new music tracks (including 21 from Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes), removes 3 music tracks, and fixes / adjusts tags of strategic tracks for a more immersive experience.

Playlist link has also been updated to a Spotify version, due to videos on Youtube being delisted or deleted.
It can be found here: https://soundcloud.com/komogi-nanuta/sets/fire-emblem-music-aow4-mod

Full patch notes can be found here:

Hope you all continue to enjoy listening to Fire Emblem music~
Komogi  [author] 21 Nov, 2024 @ 11:15pm
@Herr Gutentauben: Thanks for the suggestion! Unfortunately, that track won't be a good fit for this mod, as orchestral rock is a bit too far removed from what's found in AoW4. However, I will be adding a bunch of music from Three Hopes in the next update, so you can look forward to that!

If I ever have time to do an "Extended" version of this mod in the future, I'll definitely add in Between Heaven and Earth [Inferno], alongside many other tracks!
Herr Gutentauben 3 Oct, 2024 @ 7:39am
Hello, would you consider adding some Three Hopes music?
I was thinking on this one specifically. Between heaven and earth (Inferno)

@Komogi thanks a lot! expect a music mod from me in the near future :3

@Pumko: Just wanted to let you know that the music mod guide is finished! It ended up being much more extensive than what I was expecting, but hopefully it'll still be of help to you haha

still hoping for a guide.. :3

Version 3.2.1 Update:

Small update that adds Apex of the World (Rain) back into the mod!
(Turns out there is some minor lyrical singing in Trials of Fortitude II from the Empire and Ashes soundtrack, so Apex of the World (Rain) still fits the music of AoW4! Thanks for pointing that out arca_bibliophile!)
Komogi  [author] 10 Mar, 2024 @ 8:16pm
Version 3.2 Update:

Adjusts audio levels of all tracks to be the same volume as the base game tracks. Modded tracks should no longer sound softer than the base game music!
(Thanks for reporting the issue Guilu and That Human!)

Removed Apex of the World (Rain) from Fire Emblem: Three Houses, due to it featuring singing with lyrics.
Komogi  [author] 10 Mar, 2024 @ 11:48am
Thanks That Human! :tgrin:

The music levels sound fine to me, although another user did report that they were lower in volume than base game tracks as well. I'll look a bit more into the mixing and see what I can do!
That Human 10 Mar, 2024 @ 5:58am
Love the mod! I would wish the volume was increased to be on the level of the original tracks as they are noticeably lower.
Komogi  [author] 28 Feb, 2024 @ 10:59am
Glad to hear you like it Selk! :D

Yeah, I would have loved to include some music from the older games, but alas, they unfortunately don't quite fit in haha
Clovey 27 Feb, 2024 @ 9:23pm
YASSS THIS IS AMAZING
sad theres none for the older games but i guess it would be pretty jarring hearing much different soundfonts lol
Komogi  [author] 27 Feb, 2024 @ 7:18pm
A playlist for all of the music in this mod can now be found in the description or on the pinned discussion forum! Hope you enjoy listening to them outside of the game~ :TtMrabbit:

Aw, thank you for the kind words Naiazu and Holy Grail! :tgrin:
HolyGrail 27 Feb, 2024 @ 8:36am
really cute mod!
Naiazu 27 Feb, 2024 @ 3:07am
its amazing what added music adds to the game. Hats off!
Komogi  [author] 25 Feb, 2024 @ 2:22pm
No problem at all! :)

It is intentional for a tactical music track to loop, but a different track should play when you enter a new battle or load from a save!

Regarding conditional music tracks, they are indeed present for the AoW4 ost! However, many of them don't have any conditions at all, meaning that they will play independent of alignment, war status, or game length. In additional, tactical music tracks cannot have conditionals at all, meaning a random one will be picked for each battle!
Elliott 25 Feb, 2024 @ 4:43am
Great to see more updates on this and thanks for fixing the looping.

Although its far less of an issue (Might even be intentional) The tactical music doesn't seem to change for me, it just loops the same track. Is that intended or should it go through the tracks? I haven't tested version 3.0 yet (think I'm going to wait for Primal Fury before starting a new game now)

Also I find it really interesting you have conditional music tracks depending on game length or alignment. Was that something already in the game for the AOW4 ost?
Komogi  [author] 24 Feb, 2024 @ 9:15pm
Version 3.1 Update

Twilight of Gods and God Shattering Star (Rain) have been removed after some feedback.

All tracks have been added to appropriate Mixer Groups, meaning they can now be controlled by the ingame music volume slider! (Thanks for reporting the issue Reks_Hayabusa!)

All tracks have also been compressed, reducing mod size by roughly 50%.
Pumko 24 Feb, 2024 @ 8:40pm
Great, will wait for it :3
Komogi  [author] 24 Feb, 2024 @ 8:21pm
Hi Pumko! I'm open to making a guide on creating music mods for AoW4, but it will take a while, as I'm currently focused on getting my other mods prepped for Primal Fury. I'll post a comment here with a link to it when it's done though!
Pumko 24 Feb, 2024 @ 7:44pm
Hello, great work! I don't want to seem intrusive, but could you make a quick guide how to do this-like mod? God I wanna try it with the Endless legend ost :3
Komogi  [author] 24 Feb, 2024 @ 12:14am
Just a correction, it's actually 21 new tracks from Fire Emblem: Fates , not 32!
Komogi  [author] 23 Feb, 2024 @ 11:57pm
Version 3.0 Update

32 new tracks from Fire Emblem: Fates , 1 new track from Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia , and 5 new tracks from Fire Emblem: Awakening have been added! One track has been moved from Tactical to Strategic and another track has its conditionals changed.

Detailed changes can be found here:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/changelog/3164554994

Have fun listening to all of the new music! :TtMrabbit:
Komogi  [author] 23 Feb, 2024 @ 8:44pm
Cheers! Glad you're enjoying it! :2016popsicle:
GladiusFrog 23 Feb, 2024 @ 8:39am
Appreciate the Mod, Excellent!
Komogi  [author] 21 Feb, 2024 @ 8:56pm
Version 2.1 Update

10 new tracks from Fire Emblem: Engage and Fire Emblem: Three Houses have been added, 3 tracks have been removed, and a few tracks have had their conditionals changed.

Manual loop conditions have also been added to all Strategic tracks, which should prevent the issue of them playing forever. (Thanks for reporting this Elliott!)

Detailed changes can be found here:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/changelog/3164554994
Komogi  [author] 21 Feb, 2024 @ 6:17pm
Looks like I actually do need to set some manual loop conditions, in order to force the strategic tracks to finish playing and cycle properly. Thanks for bringing it to my attention, I'll have it fixed for the next update!
Komogi  [author] 21 Feb, 2024 @ 3:59pm
That's great to hear! :D

Regarding the strategic tracks, they should be cycling! However, I did mark sections of the tracks to loop, which may be causing what you're experiencing. Let me see if there's anything I can do!
Elliott 21 Feb, 2024 @ 2:15pm
Yes just had a battle and it played an awakening track and it fit so well it feels very seamless in how it fits into the game.

One thing I did notice, not sure if this is a mod issue but the track playing in the world map section did not change it just seemed to loop it? I'm guessing the tracks should cycle? Unless I got crazy RNG that played the same song several times.
Komogi  [author] 20 Feb, 2024 @ 8:37pm
Thanks! I happened to be listening to some Fire Emblem music the other day and thought, why not bring it to AoW4 and share it with everyone? And thus, this mod came to be! AoW4's music was also starting to get a bit repetitive too, so it was perfect to add some variety as well!

Hope you enjoy checking out the included tracks! :tgrin:
Elliott 20 Feb, 2024 @ 10:40am
Nice work, if I had to critique AOW4 its that the music is not bad but.... fairly bland? I think I've been spoiled by the great OST's from other games (Like Fire Emblem)

I've not tried the mod yet but definitely going to give it a try, thanks!
Komogi  [author] 20 Feb, 2024 @ 10:16am
Version 2.0 Update

Adds 13 tracks from Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia and Fire Emblem: Awakening !

Tracklist can be found here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1WwGz6T1bRG8_SRtHVNJq9ZLn3fDYRZMjaCflLGv9Afg/edit?usp=sharing

Hope you all enjoy listening to the new tunes~
Komogi  [author] 20 Feb, 2024 @ 9:30am
Yes, the original music is still there!

Will there be original music along with mod music?
