I can't play without this mod, godspeed
renegade_sock 21 Jun @ 3:36am
Ah ok, well looking forward to any changes you make. I reckon 1.6 will be really big and given how many people on reddit also think that VE has some serious balance issues, I reckon this mod will gain a lot of traction.
Samuel_Bucher  [author] 20 Jun @ 11:57am
@renegade_sock
I don't remember. Also, that's not my Pastebin, it's the previous author's. I really need to go through what this mod does and update stuff. I'll do it after the DLC release.
renegade_sock 20 Jun @ 11:24am
Absolute legend, thanks for making vanilla expanded mods usable.

Btw when you say that you have patches for the VE cooking mods, does that mean that you made balance changes for them that aren't mentioned in your Pastebin?
Angrysquirrel 14 Jun @ 5:12pm
Thanks dude! I don't subscribe to the vanilla expanded and other vanilla mods because the create errors that spam my log.
Killsode 26 May @ 9:49am
@Samuel_Bucher another good answer is to replace all of the pawn's limbs with prosthetics, as they have no sub components.

I have a lot of crafting to do.
Samuel_Bucher  [author] 26 May @ 9:14am
@Killsode
A much better answer to that question is enabling coverage for fingers and toes on power armor, which several mods do.
Killsode 26 May @ 9:10am
I will say "why isnt there armor for the hands and feet" has actually been a question i've asked and been answered by the marine gloves&boots. Seriously, the amount of lost fingers and toes in vanilla is obscene.

Samuel_Bucher  [author] 16 May @ 7:45am
In case anyone is curious, I'm aware of the VE Furniture update. I will update this mod to accomodate the changes, I just don't have time for mod development at the moment.
Samuel_Bucher  [author] 6 May @ 10:22am
@lol
I don't remember the exact issues, I just know that there were errors. I'm starting to play with Combat Extended myself now, so I'll try to fix this when I have more free time.
lol 6 May @ 9:13am
Привет, очень нравится идея чистого мода. Несовместимость с CE — полная? Невозможно играть, или что-то не работает, но можно попробовать?
Symmetric Synapse 5 May @ 1:20pm
@Samuel_Bucher sorry for never posting the error, I had been able to replicate the problem, but then I just disabled. When I came back, I had been moving things around and some load order change (or other weird mod conflict that had been removed) stopped the problem and I couldn't replicate the error. So there is a mystery mod conflict/load order issue out there somewhere.
Wish I could have helped more.
Vartarhoz 26 Apr @ 1:06pm
Vanilla Ideology Expanded - Memes and Structures, it add styles. So I have removed it. Fixed my problem. I guess they didn't check for it.
Samuel_Bucher  [author] 26 Apr @ 12:03pm
@Vartarhoz
No. What's most likely the case is that something else was expecting to use something which this mod removes, aka the combat handgun. Do you know which mod might be doing that?
Vartarhoz 26 Apr @ 11:57am
So red errors like
"Could not resolve cross-reference: No Verse.ThingDef named VWE_CombatHandgun found to give to Verse.ThingDefStyle Verse.ThingDefStyle"
Normal?
Samuel_Bucher  [author] 5 Apr @ 8:13am
@Symmetric Synapse
Thank you for reporting this. I'll look into it. Could you copy-paste the error into the Errors thread?
Symmetric Synapse 5 Apr @ 7:47am
I believe it is this mod that is causing errors with Royal Beds. Getting an error of object reference failure for the graphic after it is constructed, which causes a chain of headaches, and can't be removed by any means I've found once created.
Removing this mod fixed it. I've been easily repeatable while enabled, though it could be a conflict with something else, I do not know.
Samuel_Bucher  [author] 19 Mar @ 6:25am
@TurtleShroom
It is done. Is there anything else you find excessive in Medieval 2?
Samuel_Bucher  [author] 19 Mar @ 3:34am
Oh, I didn't realize that VFE Medieval 2 was released.
Samuel_Bucher  [author] 16 Mar @ 11:09pm
@TurtleShroom
Noted, I'll move wine to brewing.
Sarg Bjornson 16 Mar @ 4:00pm
Taranchuk is on a whole other level, he is just SO smart
TurtleShroom 16 Mar @ 3:57pm
Of course it's Taranchuk, the man that should be doing this for shekels being paid out by Ludeon. That man is a genius.

I mean, you're great too, but Tarunchuk's work has functionally created new games within RW.
Sarg Bjornson 16 Mar @ 2:06pm
I just think research projects are neat! *insert Marge meme*

I think Taranchuk was going to put the code for moving bases in the Framework, you can ask him!
TurtleShroom 16 Mar @ 2:04pm
Okay. Well, I do stand by my statement. Unnecessary Research Projects are a bane of the VFE series! (I also think the Bartering thing is unecessary and likely to cause problems.)

That said, the Caravan Faction forming THEIR OWN CARAVANS and MOVING is AMAZING.

I hope you'll add that to the Khajiit Mod Factions, or make it so that we can make our own caravans: https://www.steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3252149446 .

If I knew C-Sharp, I'd do it.
Sarg Bjornson 16 Mar @ 2:00pm
Sorry, that wasn't Oskar, that was me
TurtleShroom 16 Mar @ 1:59pm
I hope that this Mod goes and removes the Research Project for Wine. I swear, I think Oskar makes Research Project bloat for the sake of it. Just use Brewing...
Samuel_Bucher  [author] 16 Mar @ 1:12am
@Silver
Yes.
Silver 15 Mar @ 2:21pm
Will this include the new medieval one in the future
山田太郎 8 Feb @ 8:14am
Is this compatible with ferny's (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/id/misterferny/myworkshopfiles/?appid=294100) mods that also clean up Vanilla Expanded?
Scryie 29 Jan @ 9:43am
I don't remember to be exact, maybe test in game to see?
Samuel_Bucher  [author] 29 Jan @ 9:41am
@Scryie
Good point. Could you be more specific? Which mods? Which research?
Scryie 29 Jan @ 9:32am
some research projects are left empty by this mod(example compound bow) maybe remove them?
Persia 10 Dec, 2024 @ 2:52pm
Best mods ever. Your game philosphy fully reflect mine. It's fantastic
Kokorocodon 31 Oct, 2024 @ 6:41pm
This has got to be the best mod on the workshop...... xD
Samuel_Bucher  [author] 31 Oct, 2024 @ 10:06am
@Futstub
Happy to help ;)
Futstub 31 Oct, 2024 @ 9:59am
This has got to be the shittiest mod on the workshop..... xD
Samuel_Bucher  [author] 10 Jun, 2024 @ 3:34am
@B flat I'll concider add more options once I'm a bit less busy.
Samuel_Bucher  [author] 10 Jun, 2024 @ 3:31am
Oops, I really did break the XML options. Should be fine now.
B flat 10 Jun, 2024 @ 3:11am
Otherwise I really like the idea and would welcome some more settings (based on your screenshot it's a single setting I wouldn't have used anyway). Like, I don't want to move VE's furniture to the main furniture tab, since that, in my opinion, would actually increase the bloat. I completely agree with the rest of changes.
B flat 10 Jun, 2024 @ 3:06am
and yes, I have it installed :D
B flat 10 Jun, 2024 @ 3:04am
@Samuel_Bucher can confirm that the mod doesn't appear in mod settings. Neither in main nor in "more mod options" (which I presume is XML Extensions)
B flat 10 Jun, 2024 @ 2:51am
I've been avoiding using Weapons/Armor expanded, but I really wanted those charge weapons. Thanks for the mod! It's baffling how many seemingly duplicate items VE Expanded adds.
Samuel_Bucher  [author] 9 Jun, 2024 @ 11:15pm
@Silver Can you access the XML Extentions options menu?
Silver 9 Jun, 2024 @ 5:50pm
XML settings menu not working for me either
Samuel_Bucher  [author] 4 Jun, 2024 @ 10:21pm
@Shadow Wizard Money Gang Member
Like what?
Shadow Wizard Money Gang Member 4 Jun, 2024 @ 4:17pm
are you planning to remove the bloat from any other/more vanilla expanded mods? bloat is something I feel like the VE mods struggle with tbh \:
Vertigo 13 May, 2024 @ 4:44pm
Never mind any earlier comments if you can still see them. Only VE-Production has an options menu none of the other patches you offer do. I presumed that all patches could be enabled/disabled but you only offered it for the large production tables.
Samuel_Bucher  [author] 13 May, 2024 @ 6:03am
@Vertigo Works for me.
