@Kitten For appearance, it's fixed only masks where the original character hairs should be hidden.
For problems about shoes, somehow I've downgraded to VS2 skin instead of using VS3 and seems perfect fit, however, in B42 is forced to use VS3 as based, so I can't do anything more...

does this fix the masks on shoes? im having an issue where my feet/legs are constantly poking out of shoes+stockings if part of the shoe

Hmm ... i see, but ... if you take a look at the picture 3 in the 6 preview picture, u can see it said TECHCORE with no _ at all, i even when to that VR model shop website and also see other preview picture have the same name as TECHCORE too. I wonder if it just naming mistake

Now i know where the author get material from, the more u know, thank for sharing this stonk info :steamhappy::steamthumbsup:

Im not gonna touch the file cause im scare i may broke something by accident, but if u say so. My guess is it should name Tech-core, but "-" isnt allow to use in code, so you have to use "_" instead, i just have to cope with it :steamsad:

Clothing items icon aren't related to translation, it's bind with item scripts that pointed to icon texture that not existed currently, I have no idea how to generate them.
About Tech_core naming, the name is actually match the reliable source that I've found, you can see if you go deep to my rabbit hole... (I mean, just open my EN translation file and take a little time to read translation comments XD)

Can u fix the Tech Core outfit name? it still have _ in the name and only dress have icon, other just have " ? "

@Nanjo I'm sorry for very late reply because busying outside since then, but still thank you for your coming, however, I still seems or don't know is persisted issues about <textureChoice> of masks XML are already fixed or not, but my point of patching is avoid copy original resources (especially models and textures) if it's not necessary are still on my promise.

@Quilava I didn't tell on the mod description to notice all users that prefer to check change notes often, but I can't avoid about both not say that the mod ID are renamed and need to reactivate later, as you can see in newest changelog that I've rebuild GUID for certain clothing items, so this mod at this point aren't only patch masks now...

Holly ... didnt know the OG author commenting on this mod, was checking around because the mod disable, found out that you rename the mod

Wish the OG author read about the suggestion i made, only him can change the outfit slot

It seems like your action is just came here and show how many hates toward specific modding genre, if you're actually read mod descriptions and fellow comments that include myself where I try to explain and resolves problems in case of doesn't know proper use of this mod, you will not comment it out like that.
I'm not a good control of community where I have some space to control, such as comments and discussions of my mods, you can downvote mod and walk away if you don't like, yes, I will do it that way if I'm yours.

Both body and clothing mods aren't made by mine at all, I just only patch the clothing XML code.
And I may patch clothing scripts in the future to change clothes of that mod should use proper and reasonable slots.
Sorry that I cannot do anything beyond just for coding patch.

additional question would be: is there available a fix for body/ mask skin colours, as skin seems more tanned compared to anime mask's skin colour?

I'm sorry if in case my screenshots aren't clear enough, it's only patch mask to hide hair whenever you wear a face mask from that mod, my screenshot show preview that even long hair will be hide when you're wearing them, this work like Triceratops mod that hide your hair when wear some character mask (and even another pieces of clothes, too.)
Another problem is if you unload my patch mod and try to wear ponytail mask, you will get error texture that paint only checkered red/white pattern on your head instead of rendering skinned face mask properly.
Due to lacking of my hardware, waiting just entering, loading and leaving games are now painful though.

I'll promise to change screenshot that have comparison properly soon.

absolutely no idea how this mod works, downloaded this and original required mods (Binary Dimension, variableskin2) but can't select anything like this when creating a char in menu, I can't see anything mod-related in-game after I spawn, and my char's body is vanilla and face is a mess....

Mask item is like clothing item (Mask from that mod are use hat slot), just wear it like wear shirts, pants, etc. (Imaging that it's work same as Triceratops mods that have character masks, but that mod are use their individual slots rather than vanilla)
Only ponytail and twintails are random texture variants, it's randomized which color should be.
Preview image is using Improved Hair Menu to compare that character hairs are removed while wear masks, without this patch will see character hair overlap through mask, of course, ponytail masks will show red-white error textures if you choose other variants than type 1, too.

Just discovered the root cause after knowing XML patch because of textureChoices are wrongly point to non-exist file, but in fact the mod itself already have proper texture for that.
Unfortunately, maintainer are wrongly name texture files, so I think it's good to apply fix together.
