i know you cant play dlc maps on conquest with people who dont have the dlc but can we play with this mod on the non-dlc maps with non-dlc factions or is it a hard requirement? i guess we will find out

@Aurelian Wow, that's an old, old mistake that's been in the mod for almost a year now. I'll check the numbers later and fix it with the next update. Until then, use a smaller army!

the issue was odd, but has been resolved

there was a mod I had enabled, and I really didnt think it would have caused any issues, as it never really has. this mod was removed, and fixed the crash

having an issue where it just insta crashes my game no matter what. So firstly, it says the era date only effects the AI, this is incorrect, as it changes the default units that are unlocked for the player, with the year 43 selected, I start with brandenburger infantry, but all other units are normal 1939 and earlier. On top of this issue, as soon as I open the research tech tree, the game instantly crashes.

Hmm, by "is that a thing", I meant this automatic win after killing the last enemy. I've never heard of this feature and it seems like a huge improvement to the game if it exists. What you've described is just conquest in this game.

If you want faster defense missions, use the CE guide to reduce the number of points you need to win. Be aware though that this also shortens attack missions. Basically, every choice you make messing with balance has side effects so see what works best for you.

Yeah, seems to be a thing. This is the only mod enabled and it happened again, I sent all of my units to scout the entire map just in case but nada. 10 minutes waiting for 40 enemies then 15 minutes of silence and sitting around for the cap points is a bit much! Any chance of being able to check into that?

Really fun! But is there a way to re-enable auto winning a defense when you kill all the enemies? For me it made me wait out for the points even when it was 15+ minutes with no enemy waves.

To make it harder to buy everything. I tested low economy twice and it only affects AI more than player.

Playing as the Soviets rn and it seems that tanks only spawn en masse when attacking, I am super late into this campaign and all they sent was half tracks and infantry while I was defending.

Basically, both our mods have grown more and more complicated over time and making them work together is more trouble than it's worth. If 2 mods try to change the same file you have trouble, and as mods get bigger the odds of this happening only increases.

If you want the AI changes from this mod, try the legacy version. That mod is much smaller and works with a wider range of mods.

Even with smaller mods like Coopy's mod that let players choose any map and faction they want -- my mod and his mod affect the same files after v2.3. The only way I could still give players the choice of playing with any faction/region they want after v2.3 was to graft his mod onto this one. With smaller mods this kind of surgery isn't too difficult, but with more complex ones it very quickly becomes a nightmare.

hey, I've been enjoying your mod for a while but since this recent update I've been experiencing a crash every time I try to load a conquest match in coop. The second that the match loads a series of explosions go off in my spawn and the game crashes immediately after.

Enjoying your mod, I am playing germany vs usa (mainly coz I like the maps when vs'ing the USA). The only thing I wish for was that the USA would challenge me more by throwing more difficult tanks at me sooner.

You don't have much more control than that without making a whole new mod, really. Keep playing with the files that guide mentions a bit more -- that's basically all the control you have.

Ok I followed the steps there but for your mod and edited the file to allow the AI to spawn more, the only issue is that in defense it seems now they spawn lots of light tanks at the start, then nothing else happens for 15 minutes. Ideally they should spawn infantry with lots of armor right?

Google the "conquest enhanced customisation guide" and you'll (hopefully) find a steam guide. In there you should be able to find ways to change AI resources.

Steam isn't letting me save edits to the description, so some extra info here:

- AI purchasing has been tweaked slightly. GER and USSR AI now have access to heavier tanks (KV-1, Tiger 1) earlier than before, for historical accuracy.

All in all, this update is more about gameplay than units. I am especially interested to see how the air supply tac-aid works for people with their many different playstyles!

Hey! I like the mod, I just notice in my last defense mission, the AI just spawned one heavy tank for the entire duration, so is there a way to give the enemy AI more resources? Or the ability in any case to spawn more units?

Whats the increment in days that the ai switches their tech level / year? is it every 5/10 days? I've noticed that the AI love to rush my spawn with two tanks and a butt load of infantry, maybe even a dshk truck

I just have some very basic questions about the mod. So I'm starting in 1939 / Endless mode. Last time I played on hardcore,I'm on day 42 and i still completely murder the AI, is something broken? I'm only asking because it feels a bit easy. I'm still seeing Early-ish T34's, su122's and the occasional kv1s. i apologise, im writing this after ive just woken up so i dont know what the fuck im babbling about
