It is also not difficult at all to mod CK2 yourself; the stuff pyeama was writing is scripting that can be done on the client end. From what I can tell, his suggestions are just tweaking scopes and conditions that have already been established by this mod; that's straightforward enough that I could tell a layman to do as much and we'd be in business.
I think the event that causes a rebellion should be changed so that people with the ambitious, envious or a -50 opinion of the new leader would almost always claim the throne. People with the Proud, Stubborn or negative opinion of the new leader should be more likely to rebel. This makes it so the traits of the claimants determine how dangerous they are. This also ties in to making people with the negative opinion modifiers "my brother" and "my half brother" more likely to claim the throne, adding to historical realism.
Also, even titled people should be able to claim leadership. This makes titled brothers and half brothers (of the same religion) very dangerous. To counterbalance this, the amount of troops people should spawn with should be reduced to 65-90% or something idk. In case this is not already in the mod, people with weak claims should not be included in the people that can rebel as many women also claim the title, something I think hinders realism / historical dynamics.
Once again I have not tried the mod so I'm saying this based on the description of the event as shown on steam. I'll try the mod when I get the chance and am on my pc. Also, all of these things are just my opinion on what would improve this event from the muslim perspective.
