@RozetaMeteor [1] G'day. I've considered it - The reason I overhauled many of these tiles was because of a question that kept popping up in my mind: "Did I actually want to play [x] tile?" Thinking about it, many of the answers were no, which is why I went back and did a thorough polish pass over them. Some of the tiles I thought were lacking before - due to being just, a disparate scatter of pixels or not really fitting Qud's art style, or just being kinda meh - are now some of my favourites. Plated wanderer, dauntless exile, and technopath spring to mind as examples of that

@RozetaMeteor [2] Regarding uploading the older tiles as separate versions, I don't have any plans to do so at the moment, as I consider the updated tiles as the, "de facto best version of that tile", if you will. That being said, my mods are licenced under the GNU GPL v3 - which basically means anyone can modify them if they're not a dick about it, so if there's anyone that wants to bring the older tiles to light, they're welcome to do so

Cool, edited the Somnia Chemist tile and licenced my tile mods under the GNU General Public Licence v3 (which I'm obliged to mention can be found at the end of my mod descriptions, as well as included with my mods in their respective folders) If anything's gone broke because of that, let me know, but there shouldn't be any problems. Hopefully.

@Scalapher The Artificer Yes, that's one of the ones I redesigned in the 1.4.0 update. At the time, I wasn't too happy with how... flat, it looked. I tried to keep the beak-like shape of the mask while having more of a three-quarter angle. If it's not translating super well, let me know and I'll see if I can find a middle ground between how it used to look and how it looks now

I actually like you view a lot more haha, sorry if i touched a sensitive topic, i didn't mean to ofend. In pandemy i got covid a few times, i didn't have dificulty in expressing myself with others before but after it.. Sometimes words are on the tongue tip but they don't come out, forget simply things that were said minutes ago and so on.. Either way wish you the best.

@RozetaMeteor Whatever works for you - I had in mind that they were some kind of labrador, full of energy. To be honest, amnesia was a defect I didn't want to explore too deeply, as it hit a bit too close to home, so I apologise if it's a bit vague

Is bright eye explorer some sort of goatfolk with golden horns ? Or it's more similar to coronal savant, something like a aura circle per se.. Trying build around him and thinked would be better to ask first haha.

@MusicalAuraFox G'day, thanks for getting in touch. I've actually already addressed this issue - So the way I understand things is that the game now automatically flips any tile associated with the player, so I've flipped my tiles to appear in the correct orientation in game. They might appear the wrong way around in the CYF menus though, as I assume that it's reading the raw tile .png, which is facing right-to-left, not taking into account the game flipping it the correct way.

For 80, I had an idea as to what the coronal savant should look like - i.e: pretty. I liked the head shape because it fitted nicely within the frame of the light corona, while also (hopefully) giving the illusion of angle with the ears

107 was inspired by a comment left on the original CYF Expansion by @Chromosomes. It's not exactly Clayface, but I liked the idea of an Eater-esque face atop a mound of goop.

46 was inspired by an official art piece depicting an early rendition of the urshiib (you can find it in-game - it's the background image for the "Modding Utilities" menu). I was struggling to come up with an idea to match the "triple-jointed" mutation, and that kind of just fit like a square block in a square hole

While it's clear on many of them what mutation they are based on, do you have a list that says what mutation each tile "uses"? (Fishing for new run ideas!)

@Laggio Unfortunately, that's a hitch with Unity more than anything else; it's why I've tried to make the tiles as visible as possible here for that exact reason. I know that Kernelmethod - the author of Choose Your Fighter - was playing around with a way to increase the size of tiles in-game, but, at the time of writing this, I've no idea if anything's come of it yet.

is it possible to make the tiles bigger in the list of tiles, at the end of character creation process?

It is hard to pick the best tile that match your character. I ended checking the tiles here on steam workshop, and then selecting them in game.
