I've added a link to your updated version of the mod in the description since you've already created one. Since you've already created a mod with the desired functionality, I may or may not update this mod.

The Ship Enabled tag was not available at the time that I had published this. I'll update the mod to use it when I get a chance.

Why replace them? You can do <Ship Enabled="false">.
