Mitch  [author] 18 Jun @ 12:40pm
@尤龙88 Apologies for the slow response. What issue are you experiencing?
尤龙888 12 Jun @ 6:02am
@Mitch hopes that the author can update and address the bugs as soon as possible, so that we can use the MOD you made as soon as possible
jörgen 31 May @ 9:31am
oh wow thats mybad, how is it possible that a gamebreaking bug like this isnt fixed in over 2 months lmao. Sorry boss this mod is the best, hopefully they fix the damn gates
Mitch  [author] 31 May @ 9:23am
@jörgen This is a bug in the game itself, not the mod. You can find the bug report linked a few comments below.
jörgen 31 May @ 9:14am
all of the metal gates to be exact, walls and fences works just fine
jörgen 31 May @ 9:12am
currently whilst using this mod, gates have 0 durability and are instantly broken by a single zombie
Mitch  [author] 28 May @ 5:39pm
@Cyrisa I see what you mean when you say the new system isn't very configurable at the moment. I will check it out soon and let you know.
Cyrisa 27 May @ 11:35pm
These are the two settings we can adjust, and I have already.

Your system would be better imo. It would be great if we could repair fences that have holes. But I don't think this mod covers that.
Mitch  [author] 27 May @ 6:37pm
@Cyrisa I thought there were some options in the sandbox settings to fine-tune this new system. I will take a closer look at it later and take your suggestions into consideration. Thank you for the feedback.
Cyrisa 27 May @ 11:34am
Looking at the mod I think it covers all metal things or construction. My very first hope was that it would be a configurable option for the bendable fence system. As per usual, the devs don't really let us adjust the new thing until mods do it.
Mitch  [author] 27 May @ 11:23am
@Cyrisa No, it doesn't work with the new bendable fences framework, it only works with structures that are not handled by it. I haven't explored this mechanic in depth but I think it would be redundant to have both systems working for those fences. Please, do let me know if you think otherwise.
Cyrisa 27 May @ 11:07am
Does this also work with the new zombie fence tear down system? So that it takes even more zombies before a world placed fence breaks or takes damage.
Mitch  [author] 4 May @ 3:07am
@ThePsychoDetective It works with any construction targetable by zombies. Unless you are in build 42, the ones you mentioned are not targetable by default. If you want to change that, then use this mod along with Destroyable World Fences .
ThePsychoDetective 4 May @ 2:53am
Does the mod apply to player built constructions only? or pre built constructions too? like fences around the fire departments?
Kenpa 25 Apr @ 4:11am
Very simple... very dope. ty
Mitch  [author] 13 Apr @ 5:39am
@ZZiggs It's only available for build 42.
ZZiggs 13 Apr @ 12:32am
Hey where are the settings for the metal barricades that are suggested in the screenshot? they don't exist in the sandbox settings.
Mitch  [author] 9 Apr @ 3:46pm
@Mantha Although I've seen reports from some players stating that the mod works in multiplayer for build 41, I haven't confirmed this myself since I have no interest in multiplayer. I encourage you to test it yourself. The mod has been carefully designed to avoid side effects.
Mantha 9 Apr @ 2:46pm
Is this compatible with multiplayer in B41/B42? Please add this vital information to the description!
Mitch  [author] 28 Mar @ 5:21pm
@VaeLLisK Thank you, I've subscribed to that thread. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.
Mitch  [author] 28 Mar @ 4:24pm
@VaeLLisK That’s good to know. I haven’t played much lately, so I haven’t encountered this issue myself. Is there a bug report I can follow? Thanks.
VaeLLisK 28 Mar @ 4:15pm
Its in vanilla as well so not mod related. Tested with all other mods off etc.
Mitch  [author] 28 Mar @ 3:47pm
@Izz Could be a mod conflict then. Can you add me here or message me on discord to show me your issue? My discord is offroadmich
Izz 28 Mar @ 3:42pm
Build 42 yes. Also it's not the mod that's making the gates seem like paper. I just disabled it on my save and the zombies still just walk through them
Mitch  [author] 28 Mar @ 2:54pm
@Izz Build 42?
Izz 28 Mar @ 2:48pm
Double Tall Wooden Gate doesn't hold up either even when set to 0
Izz 28 Mar @ 2:41pm
Sorry, not the Big Pole and Wire. It's the Double Tall Metal Pole Gate and Double Tall Wire Fence Gate I was using
Izz 28 Mar @ 2:39pm
I've seen these ones shredded despite setting them to 0:

Big Pole Fence Gate
Big Wire Fence Gate

I also had Double Tall Wooden Gate shredded but I haven't tested it with the 0 setting
I think the Wooden Wall (Advanced) with a Wooden Frame holds up though as I haven't seen them destroyed since I installed the mod
Mitch  [author] 28 Mar @ 1:54pm
@Izz Please mention which gates specifically so that I can check your issue.
Izz 28 Mar @ 1:10pm
The mod doesn't appear to work for me. Solo zombies tear down my gates like they are made of wet rice paper and barely even slow down. I even tried setting the required zombie count to 0 so that the gates would be invulnerable and I was still getting ambushed in my base by zombies that just tore down the gates and walked straight in.
poopsock 24 Mar @ 7:46pm
@sheeps beat me to it, I saw the errors popping up, but i couldnt find out why the logs were happening so i didnt want to just post the lines stated in the error
Mitch  [author] 24 Mar @ 7:28pm
@sheeps That's good to hear. Please report if you find any more issues.
sheeps 24 Mar @ 7:24pm
Had to unsub and resub again to force the update, but the error spam stopped.
Mitch  [author] 24 Mar @ 6:58pm
@🔰 @poopsock @sheeps Please update the mod and let me know if you find further issues.
Mitch  [author] 24 Mar @ 6:35pm
@sheeps I'm looking into it. Thanks for the error log.
sheeps 24 Mar @ 6:26pm
Happens when zombies are attacking prebuilt vanilla chain link fences that were previously undamageable.

give a second mich, im working with a friend of mine to spot the error, i also have the same problem as @🔰
Mitch  [author] 24 Mar @ 4:30pm
@🔰 Please be specific about what's broken, I haven't encountered any errors yet.
🔰 24 Mar @ 2:53pm
i guess due to vanilla breaking mechanic being introduced with this update, this mod is broken now. throwing thousands of errors. with there being a framework for what this mod does as part of vanilla now, i assume best would be to completely rewrite the mod and use the now existing framework for better integration
Mitch  [author] 21 Mar @ 4:00pm
@Larry Capinga I have shortened the names in the sandbox options. Let me know if that helps.
Mitch  [author] 18 Mar @ 7:56pm
@Larry Lapinga I guess it's related to the user interface not having enough space to deal with the long names for each construction, especially those last ones which are from other mods. I guess I could try removing the mod name from there and just leave the actual name of the construction itself. I will let you know when I update it.
demZo662 18 Mar @ 7:45pm
It's interesting because in the other mod it's not happening at all and it works normally.
Mitch  [author] 18 Mar @ 7:17pm
@Larry Capinga I see what you mean. Unfortunately, I don't think there's much I can do about it, that's just the way user interfaces are implemented in the game.
Mitch  [author] 18 Mar @ 2:22pm
@Larry Capinga I fear there might be little I can do about that but do you mind sharing a screenshot?
demZo662 18 Mar @ 1:23pm
The text in the sandbox settings configuration in the main menu is not scaling properly according to font size variations and/or resolution. The other mod for wooden structures works perfectly in that aspect.
Mitch  [author] 18 Mar @ 1:58am
@thanos73 I see now. Unfortunately that's not a feature in this mod.
