Best Halo CE mod hands down. Definitely need Halo 2 Havoc. The battles are epic, and I am surprised with something new around every corner. It feels like I'm playing in Halo wars sized battles but in first person which is amazing.

What Black_Phoenix said. I don't think this is a bad mod, but the last few levels were a chore to get through. The warthog run was not fun at all, i had to restart it about 7 times because the enemies kept on killing me, that has never happened before in other mods or vanilla. I still enjoyed 90% of it.

Mod developer got really carried away with the invisible enemies, the custom music is ridiculously loud, they managed to make the warthog run unfun by giving practically every enemy an assault rifle which jars your camera around and pushes your vehicle everywhere, some of the flood spawns are infinite which requires you to just run through or you will literally run out of ammo trying to kill them.

I don't think the word "balance" is in the mod developers vocabulary

This was probably the best modded CE experience I've had Second only to Ruby's Rebalance.
The weapons are great. You can use most of them in any situation and be perfectly fine.
The friendly AI are amazing. I love the changes to them and having more friendly units where it lacked them.
Overall the mod is great and I would love to see one made for Halo 2.

Thank you for the music change during Jenkins cut scene. Absolutely phenomenal. As a prior Marine I can honestly say its much more fitting than people would think. I appreciate it. :gnomechild:

Great mod, probably the most fun CE mod ever made.

That said, to get the hud into a usable state, I have to change the resolution from 16:10 to 16:9. That's annoying, but otherwise it's fantastic.

I've gotta say, this mod makes me appreciate Keyes in a way I never have before. Leading a suicide mission to rescue your CO from the Covenant and Flood, Marines constantly meeting up with you for each push, feels incredibly epic.

Having played some older COD campaigns I also like that you seem to have taken some cues from WaW when it comes to starting weapons. A primary combat weapon, like the assault rifle, and a power weapon, like a flamethrower, dramatically changes how a lot of the early combat encounters in a mission play. It becomes less a matter of finding and shepherding a power weapon's ammo through the level for when you need it, and more a matter of just going nuts with the new power weapons against the numerous hordes of enemies you encounter. I've got a lot of trigger time in CE, and this is probably the most unique way I've seen someone rebalance the campaign without adding much in the way of new models.

eridani you do realise, the sniper is meant to have a low cap and a slow reload..its kinda the point, that was the point they werent trying to change the core of weapons, they were trying to make different varients of the guns the sniper was left mostly untouched apart from its original counter part unable to harm flood and one shot hunters

Thoroughly enjoyed this mod, the large scale battles and fast paced gameplay are very fun and refreshing for a halo mod. The expanded music, customized cutscenes and new encounters almost make it feel like an entirely new game.

Just have a few main gripes:

- The Kestrel is just bad, its too fast for strafing, cannot hover, and its main gun has no range.
- The sniper feels rather useless given how many enemies can there can be at once, especially with its slow reload and low magazine capacity having been unchanged.
- The minigun doesn't really have a use, its about equal to the ar and smg, but rarely has ammo pickups, it really should feel more like a rare power weapon.
- Too many camo/invis enemies really ruin the special-ness of them, and get annoying quick, especially when they, more often than not, run in with the non camoed enemies.
- The Maw/ POA reactor fight, is cool but is also annoying to fight through.

Awesome and epic mod. Loved it, yet The Maw is just annoying. The infinite flood respaws with Fuel rods which cannot be picked up and conga line of human flood that just blocks you isnt adding to the fun factor. But still enjoyed it with my friend. Cool cutscenes, well done remesh of Marines and the feeling of carnage is glorious. :steamthumbsup:

This was pretty fun on Legendary but could probably do with a bit more polish in a few areas.

You can hurt Keyes and have security spawn as allies, killing the bridge crew. Then you can escape the bridge through the new door that opens. It's possible to finish the level even on Legendary in this state. Here's a video .

Some other things:

- Flamethrower can gets stuck at 1 fuel and fires particles with no damage.
- You can pick up the campaign fuel rod gun while it's exploding. It will explode in your hands,
- Let us use energy swords. You can't just put a red sword in the game and not let the player use it :winter2019sadyul:.
- Checkpoints could be a bit more aggressive. Sometimes I got sent back two encounters, which becomes annoying after a while.
- Radio chatter used in 343GS/TB goes on for way too long in my opinion.
- Music scripting on AotCR is busted resulting in overlapping music until the end of the level.
