Has nothing to do with the mod.
Proably your wargoal is superceeded by another one or a bug from the base game.

@watcher6 verify the rule is still active once you hit the actual country pick screen. I had issues setting rules lately with that.
If thats still the case there might be a misleading description in one of the rules

No matter what I choose in the options, trade ports in western Mediterranean change hands after some days (Gibraltar, the Spanish port in Marocco, etc)

Having the same problem as some of the other people here. No matter what I put in the setup options, it resets all of them. Tested on Russia playthrough, with this being the only mod launching

Did some benchmark and on my new CPU the mod is about 24% faster than unmodded

i try to disable consolidation india but it doesn't work every time it consolidate no matter what i even reinstal game delete document folder for paradox but i will test new version and tell you thank for your time and responding

I believe you ran into the same issue as me which is that the game sometimes forgets the rules you between screens or if you go back. I tried many times where it did not keep the rule selection when I thought it had it, always double check. Its something out of my control.

cleaned up some missing things like in arabia or danish pegu, also reworked how the polynesia stuff is consolidated a bit becasue the GPs have a habit of making a split state everywhere

Do you have a specific example which regions consolidated anyway?
I just gave it a shot, told it to ignore Germany in the rules and it worked

Hey Caracus, great mod.
Think there's a slight issue on 1.9 with the game rules. Even if you select some consolidation to NOT occur, all options occurs anyway.

@ProTartareSauce If playing France I would strongly recommend just turning off the consolidation for North Africa via the rules added by this mod :D

I was playing france with the mod and I realised that because of the centralisation of Algeria it automaticly fails the algerian mission. I think it would be better to play france if at least one port stayed

@ProTartareSauce mod works just fine, I just played it yesterday and there were no patches since. So it is a local issue with your mod launcher or some incompatible mods

thanks, thats an interesting suggestion but I wonder if its benefits are limited since the decentralized countries dont do nearly as much as the centralized ones. On the other hand if you merge them together end up fighting huuge revolts that span almost the entire continent in africa and you may even have to fight revolts you dont have full access to, so for the most part I think they are fine
great fucking mod, i suggest consolidating decentralized countries if that is possible

@Whinix cant be, im currently on 1.8.* and it works fine. Do you by any chance play with mods that change states and/or on an earlier version than 1.8?

@mirlong you may want to use the game rules that disable the consolidation in areas where your colonies are! Ie disable it for North Africa and west Africa.
Like im not playing with consolidation on for Germany when playing Germany either.

Seems like this new update added multiple nations around the world that are not being consolidated. Most of them seem to be around India. Any plans on fixing this?

India: Preserved Tibet: Tibet remains a vassal of China. (GB has content related to them)
South America: Preserve Paraguay. (Unique JEs)Russia-Ottoman: Preserve Caucassia. (Allows GB to compete in Great Game)
Polynesia: Tahiti only. (Hawaii is pretty valuable and many nations may want it)
South Africa: Recognized Only (Allows more dynamic colonization, and historical in case of Belgium)
These are the only ones I can think of, but this might be a nice thing to consider in the future; thanks for all

Hey! I really love this mod and it's almost necessary for my poor laptop lmao. If you like the idea, I was wondering if you'd consider adding more modular options in the game rules? Enabling vs Disabling is very binary when some of the regions have content or interesting differences. Here are some of my suggestions for what I mean:
Arabian Peninsula: Sunni Yemen, Yemen is formed by a Sunni nation rather than Shia
Ethiopia: Muslim Ethiopia, Ethiopia is formed by a Sunni nation rather than Oriental Orthodox
India: Preserved Tibet: Tibet remains a vassal of China. (GB has content related to them)

@Mistaravim that part has nothing to do with this mod. There were several issues with AI aggression due to buggy calculation in 1.7 which they fixed. They also turned down overall aggression back again

I just wanted to let you know that I did it!! It took me a lot of tinkering but I've figured out a way to implement the things I suggested to you. I made a simple yet elegant and effective mod that gets it all done! It doesn't exactly limit different building type `slots` but limits total different built types overall.
