1. Change the position of the upper laser receptor. Change the position so that even if the cube changes angle slightly, it won't go outside the boundary of the receptor. You could achieve this by placing another receptor next to the upper receptor that does the same thing.
2. Another thing, make the mesh portal wall in the exit room ALWAYS CENTRED. I would get rather pissed off when boosting my self up using the light bridge b/w the room w/ the railing and the exit room. I would move my one orange portal connected to the bridge back and fourth between the two rooms to get enough height. However, occasionally when I placed my orange portal in the exit room upper mesh portal surface, it would not centre and I would fall all the way back down.
About that frustrating white surface, to be honest, I don't know which one do you mean: watch the solution video, ALL white surfaces have a purpose, and I NEVER use anything to deliberately mislead the player in my puzzles as you seem to be describing.
Thanks for playing.
Cheers!
One major thing you can do to make this one less punishing (y es MUY simple!): makes your cubes respawnable automatically (useful thing to do in other tests too). On the bright side, there's not much to this test so that's about it

@| \_/ (): Thanks mate! glad you played it and liked it :D
@Lawliet: thanks for the video man, it's a pleasure for me that you played one of my maps :) Please keep on trying to solve it, last update prevents the 2nd part of your solution :P
@quaternary: hehe, it's a pity to hear you gave up, you'd like to find the solution :p I'ved updated the map and now the solution should be easier to perform, about the grates, man, I already used all of that as usual, indeed that has been the way from the beginning, but grates keep being buggy... I've changed the grate for a simple func_detail and now it's better ;)
@thanks bro! I really like that you liked it :D
@p0rtalmaster: man, thanks for those words, really :D I'll never understand that you find everything so punishing! :P
@cyhborg: :D :p
Couldn't you fix the grating portal thing with some player clip and physics clip>
@LPChip: as far as I'm concerned, I think this map is really about "circular" theme: you're always forced to turn around, one way, the other way, using elements from each room every where. Others maps for the moment make me feel I'm doing some round trip (I hope this is the right word for "aller-retour" in french..), going forward, backward, forward, backward.
@quatrus: thanks for playing, mate! I didn't really understand how you could balance the cube between portals and then to have one at the entry area and the other at the last area, but it's not intended indeed :)
then I went to look at the posted solution videos and see that it was indeed unintended - alas not so clever of me after all... I'll look for another solution a bit later...
1. I can't solve it. I don't have a clue where to start even.
2. This map doesn't feel "circular" at all, because you can go back and forth the entire time. So it appears you completely misunderstood the objective of the competition.
3 Things:
1) sorry to spam here.
2) I have found something unintended, I think.
3) Question: Is the route within the video in this post the intended one?

Thank you!
I can confirm you fixed DeathWish808's route. Also i can confirm, that my run is still up to date, as in the route I used is still possible exactly how i did it. So good work on not "overfixing" this great chamber :)
Map has been updated again ;)
The main thing I'm wondering is how that first fling works? I know how you used the bhop maneuver to fling over the railing, but the first fling is something that I don't ever recall seeing. Feel free to leave a message on my profile or add me and tell me. Amazing speedrun!

(Still: Try the skips I did. They are hard. To hard for 99%, I would assume, even if they would know about it. -> Please do not try to patch. Having only one solution simply equals no room for creativity.)

@IlIllIlIIlIllIlI : WOW :D Amazing!! I'm glad to see such a speedrunning through one of my maps! Really :D That was very funny. Thanks for it! Maybe the new grate also gets in your way if you perform the same solution :p
Map udated again :)
Secondly I'd like to post my run of this chamber, which didn't even take a full minute to complete: http://youtu.be/c8baLq0bKj4
Anyway, I recorded my blind run, so you'll see what I mean.
I'm fairly certain I did one part unintended since it's not commonly known and not a normal thing to do. That's just what I do though. lol...
