He really isn't NASB inspired at all aside from Back Air, and Air Dodge (Forward Tilt originates from Super Brawl, which is what NASB2 also pulled from)

I've already gone at length explaining my thoughts on this character but just to reiterate- super solid interpretation of SpongeBob and the source material, one of the most balanced all-arounders you could really ask for. Sprites are well-animated, combo routes are unique, none of the references feel out-of-place and it all culminates in a really sound character I've had a good time with so far!
My only real nitpicks are concerning sound design, I'm just personally not a huge fan of his jump sfx or the other sfx pulled from the gba game as they feel a bit off. The character select sound that plays is also pretty grating on repetition, but hey, it's SpongeBob, it's pretty easy to let that slide.
But yeah, highly recommend overall, super good stuff and very promising!
