Someone made an even more updated version than this.

You should be fine either way with drop in drop out, because its largely unit/starpos modding that doesn't like being swapped out midd save.

It depends on whether the mod fully overwrites one of the tables or a few small keys.

Hi, I know this mod is war logic orientated so, just wondering if any one knows, if this mod conflict with mods that change diplomacy logic?

I see, thanks for replying. Anyway, it seems to me that the majority of UAI improvements (at budgeting, macro-decision making, general army compositions etc.) should carry on to RoTS, maybe with the exception of better designed technology paths and building valuations, which honestly play a minor role, so I don't think it needs an update. I'll give it a go, I don't think I'll pursue any changes unless a major issue arises. Thanks again for keeping the mod alive

This was unfortunately many, many years ago, and the new TW launcher utterly broke my total war steam workshop, which has more or less defeated my efforts to try and pick back up my development of any of my old works.

Hi again, sorry if I'm spamming, this is the last one promise 😁 I'll start a RoTS campaign soon and I thought I can try to update this for RoTS. When looking with PFM I've seen some entries for RoTS buildings were made. Do you remember the shortcomings you identified, what would be needed to get this mod with nicely with RoTS? I don't think I'll have the time to optimize it, but for now I'm thinking of just finding the analogues between Vanilla and RoTS, and basically copying the changes.

I ended up focusing my modding efforts in the following years to this on Attila, which more or less resulted in me genuinely forgetting the promises I made here.

I did have a branch of this on that tried to optimize a non-steam workshop compatible way of modding shogun 2, such that it would work with drop in battles for the sengoku jidai campaign, but I don't remember where that branch went or what happened to it.

This was basically me figuring out how the Steam Workshop worked by fixing the tiny (Absolutely tiny) incompatibilities the original forum version had with the steam workshop (With his permission.)

Once again, if you have any TWCenter presence, thank the Hedge Knight. He is the real hero on this specific mod.

It doesn't conflict with it, but it doesn't modify it nearly as much from what I have read.

This is 99% fixing some compatibility issues with the steam workshop that this mod originally had, and crediting the original author, as I deeply enjoyed the mod, but saw its existence on a small forum as restricting the mods audience size.

Please create mod (for player only) build 200%, research 200%, Gold 200%) For a simpler and comfortable game on the higher difficulty of the game. That worked for all factions.

In this case, I don't really have any one project thats eating up most my time, but I have a lot of projects/social obligations to keep up with, while also trying to revisit my OTHER interests once or twice a week.

This has made progress on anything somewhat difficult.

Any news on getting the ROTS and even FOTS AI upgraded? After tooling around with several major overhauls I never really found one I wanted to stick with and just decided to keep things vanilla and just finding a seperate AI pack which in turn led me to this one and boy, after getting into a major slugfest with the Otomo that managed to blitz the entire Kyushu island it felt pretty solid, the only problem, obviously, is the fact that it only works in the stock Sengoku campaign.

I know Tuskmod is probably taking up most of your freetime but just wanted to let you know there's still some of us with an interest on seeing UAI support the other two campaigns and would love to see it finally completed.

Does this mod stop the campaign ai cheating? Ir gets really anoying having a one province clan spamming full stacks of samurai at you.

Its intentionally designed to be less severe on difficulties like legendary.

Additionally, Otomo is supposed to be a fairly hard faction, due to the fact that you take religious unrest, AND occupation resistance, meaning that it takes a lot of tricks just to be sure that you aren't alpha striked before the battle starts.

sadly the "AI takes occupation resistance" mod does not work for me. My Otomo game was a desaster. But very funny ^^

The early game in UAI when the mod is alone can be difficult, as the developers did include one cheat with the AI to make the vanilla AI more "Competitive" in the early game, and with UAI, you can remove this cheat Via mod which in general should give the game a much more smooth difficulty curve. - With UAI, certain advantages the AI normally gets are "Too much,' in the early game, resulting in an early game hell in a difficulty which is otherwise perfect for you.

I would highly reccoment you check out the bottom link in the description, as it is a "AI takes occupation resistance mod," which makes it so the AI has a more smooth difficulty curve, one which is both difficult in the early and late game provided you choose the right difficulty.

I would ask the Hedge Knight, I updated his mod to work with the .Mod pack file system, and will eventually get it working for FOTS.

Hello! I'm the Master of Strategy mod moder (moon moon) and I seriously want to use this mod in the campaign mod. I'm testing it and currently it's working very good. The only parts I modiffied were buildings preferences and unit qualities since i'm using new ones. It would be great if you give me permision to use it (I did not uploaded the campaign mod, only units). Obviously i'm going to name you as colaborator.

Does this tamper with religion?

I was trying Christianity as Oda, took Tokugawa and Asahina as my vassals and slowly turned them into christian states with 100% christianity, but they have yet to turn themselves in to christians.

No new units are added, nor are the rules of the game Inhherently changed.

It shouldn't break the game, or take any time to adjust to unit adjustments. In fact, that is the entire point...

It should be able to "Drop Into" a game.

I was afraid of that. My friend and I play co-op campaigns regularly. If you need any help with testing, I/we would be more than glad to help. After playing through several campaigns with your mod and the Occupation Resistance mod, I'm dying to see them together in FoTS.
