oh damn, ill update the mod so radicals can add 500 then
SasquatchBrah 16 Sep, 2024 @ 6:59am
1.7.6 modifiers vanilla are

POLITICAL_MOVEMENT_RADICALISM_TARGET_FROM_ANGRY_IG_CLOUT = 300 # At 100% clout of angry IGs supporting this, increase radicalism by this much
POLITICAL_MOVEMENT_RADICALISM_TARGET_FROM_RADICALS = 500 # At 100% of total population as supporting radicals, increase radicalism by this much

So may want to adjust the mod/description

yeah would prolly fix 90% of the issues people got with revolutions
victim of the stairs 28 Apr, 2024 @ 3:45pm
i figure this would also go pretty well with better revolution sizes ( https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3146746156 )

Revolts are much more realistic and less of a PITA with this mod on. Thank you very much!

well i attempted to make a better frontline system with my war tweak mod. i did try making it more like hoi but it was too much micro. so now its more like a frontline but multible battles still happen even tho their set to 1. its also beter with "guns gas and garbs" or whatever that mods called

if you want a realistic politic system go for bpm "better politic mod"
Mig 26 Apr, 2024 @ 6:12am

Great idea actually! Of course, there are some problems. For example, revolts have to have a reason and so do revolutions (who both should be separated). A civil war can follow a revolution, but it must not follow a revolt.

An idea could be to make revolts occur in regards to local issues, like a radical diminuishing of the standard of living for example. Then, a "meter of revolt" could be created to measure the risk of revolt, until it comes. In a revolt, the entire province wont seccede, but only specifically affected parts of it. This revolt can then be appeased, embraced (with the problem of a counterrevolt or revolution) or crushed.

Revolutions would be a nationwide fenomenom, that could occur due to various reasons. Nationwide famines, economic hardships, class oppression, new ideas reaching the lands and so on. These then also procced through a bar, and if not dealt with will takedown the current government, and establish a new society.

the entire revolt system is broken and poorly thought out, somehow worse then victoria 2's. this just makes it less annoying
FeelsAmazingMan 24 Apr, 2024 @ 10:41am
Honestly, the problem is moreso how much of the same territory revolts tend to take away when they are directly opposed. Though this is probably something Paradox needs to work on
