so true dude
and then they'll say something like ''BuT ItS A SmAlL PaRt Of ThE CoMmUnItY'' and it takes up like 65% of the entire community like man do these goofballs actually know what grass even looks like
those are 3D eyes with the eye materials with i believe had $detail parameters applied to create emissives for the eyes so that they'll glow even in the dark which my other playermodels that had similar 3D eyes use.
@Freya
it's not possible afaik to apply it with Eyes / EyeRefract shaders as i tried with my newer playermodels. but if it's a VertexLitGeneric, which 3D eyes would often use, it can be handled with $detail or $selfillum like what you've said.
So what you see as "glowing" is just a regular texture whose material "lack" interaction with the shaders. And since it shows the full-bright version of the texture at all times regardless of the map's lighting, it sells the effect of it casting light, when in reality it isn't.

I'm guessing this is the only model of Fluff's character's you've been able to find?
Heck, even to Niko (sadly).
funny that a loud minority of people tend to get angry over these models while ironically praising the things like you've described, which is simply double standards.
it won't discourage me into making more kemono playermodels or this type of addon either, it encourages me to make more since these people tend to blow a fuse over it and hate-boost it even further, which is what i said earlier in previous pages.
once again, thank you all for your support!
"Not only that, she also wears various different outfits (not included in this addon)"
Ah, I was referring to this, just to clarify! But I understand if no.
wish i knew how to model custom stuff for a playermodel (i only know how to model props ;-;) but if i do know how to, i could give that a try.
Also, would it be possible to add in some of her alternate outfits in an update? Or are they too complex like they have too much polygons or would increase the filesize?
to be honest, why would i be using bots to push my addons? people that use them are likely dishonest and are suspicious authors pushing malicious addons to begin with (which is rare compared to a year or two ago). let me fill you in with this:
there's been a glitch going on the front page that's been happening for months now and i find it hard to believe it's botted to begin with. it picks up addons that quickly gain views mainly from you guessed it, people viewing it.
false accusations like that may hurt one's credibility, when it's really hard to tell if this phenomenon is caused by either bots or people pushing the addon to the front page by clicking on it, causing it to get picked up by the front page glitch that's not just plaguing this workshop but also other games' workshop as well.
this should be a reasonable explanation to why this unknowingly ends in the front page.
And lets be honest, minors are cringe and they crave attention.
the west is... flourishing, correct?
billions must... LIVE! isn't that right?
