I think I ended up just making new pistons rather than using the projection, I vaguely recall writing the piston settings on one of the screens. Fairly sure I did a test setup on the live stream.

hmm it also isn't allowing me to convert tp ship after removing the pink blocks for that.

How does one even connect the tether pistons to each other? I can't place two weld pads to weld them together and pasting it comes with the piston heads to begin with.

any chance anyone could come to my game who has made this work and get me moving lol, i have built it just cant figure it out

for anyone having issues with this tunneler there are 4 tires on the front bottom used as a guide remove them after it starts moving put them back they welded in place but this fixed it

Hi Kubalabuku. This machine was build during a two livestreams, here is the link to the second stream, I think I start programming around the 2 hour mark, hopefully this will help. https://www.youtube.com/live/cd4rZt0sw9g?si=LemASGMhw9whU8vC

Is this still working as intended with the contact update? I recently tried building this in my survival world, and after much trial and error, using admin mode and referencing the world save you posted, I still cannot get it to inch forward. Would it be possible to provide a list or maybe create a video that goes through how each of the timers and event controllers are set up? I feel like it's almost working like it should, I'm just missing something. Thanks!

Hi Mercer. They aren't mods, they are blueprints, you need to creative paste or survival projector print them. Have I read you question right?
MercerThePyro 20 Aug, 2024 @ 2:54am
subbed to the modds needed but they arent showing in game any ideas?
wellington6012  [author] 18 Jul, 2024 @ 9:12pm
Yeah Bazil, I don't see why not. You'd need to alter the tunnel blueprint and add some more welders, adjust the required items list, but I think it has a lot more capacity than what I set it to do. Making changes to this is something I'm not planning on doing, the intent is to share for others to try stuff themselves. The original game save file with all the individual bits/blueprints is linked in the above collection, that has suggestions how to adapt things.

This is epic - any chance of one that can also line the tunnel to make it airtight?

Hi Herzog. I decided not to clog the workshop with lots of blueprints. There is a game save file in the collection, it has the original stand alone platform blueprint, just pop in there and make a copy of it.

Hi Eternal, I think not welding those couple of conveyor blocks was in the instructions somewhere, should be fine once the wheels move onto new conveyors further ahead.

Hi Jimmy. Good to know, I didn't test on a server, but it's basically made on a vanilla world with no mods, so odd that it's not working. Isy's is an option, but also not available on console, so might need an alternative anyways.
🐾Hyperiol🐾 24 May, 2024 @ 7:34am
Could you also post a blueprint for just the platform?
eternal_mpei 16 May, 2024 @ 11:55am
In my case wheels snaps to static grid at bottom. So I had to delete conveyors placed there.

DO NOT Build this machine if u dont have all used dlcs. I build this on a server and it gave some other guy the ownership. Then Isys Script will mess u up and u will have a blackscreen.

Hi Rhino. I didn't want to flood the workshop with blueprints, there's already four associated with this. The save file is exactly for this purpose, there is the TBM that's sitting there ready to go with the press of a button. I suggest that you slice off enough of the drill heads so they wont collide with the voxel, but enough to keep the projectors and rotors intact. You should be able to make a local blueprint and creative paste that into your own world.
rhino6572 7 May, 2024 @ 10:50pm
Im going to pick it up from the save file, but could you make an official creative pasteable version/ version where you can expect someone to have a mod that lets you paste sub-grids? I'm just having the hardest time getting the tether pistons hooked up. Love the Drill, btw

Thats right Strange, 3 years, time flys
wellington6012  [author] 28 Apr, 2024 @ 2:36am
Thanks Esh, inspired by the under sea round-about tunnel in Faroe Islands
Strange 28 Apr, 2024 @ 1:33am
Damn. 3 years already?
EshFrog 27 Apr, 2024 @ 8:17pm
i like the lights down the sides
cool addition

Polymorph, print or paste? Either way, the large grid first, then the drill heads need to be projected and constructed after voxel is cleared away. Suggest having a look at the game save, you can always create your own blueprints from there (such as shift-alt-B blueprint just the large grid)
the_polymorph 27 Apr, 2024 @ 4:09pm
how do you print it the drill heads are in the way
Mollymawk 27 Apr, 2024 @ 1:46pm
cool
