this mode is very cool but, look this rank of units

i was just using this mod a few weeks ago. the unit are spartans and they are awesome, strong defensive and the hollow middle is perfect for archers and another spartan unit to support the square where heavy fighting might take place. the mod, i relized, doesnt work with some others.

can you please update the mod it is fantastic, and i have noticed that i cant recruit them (9 turns from completing 5th tier camp so that might be why) and when they go into phalanx they pull out spears instead of pikes. which i think might be caused by the fact that they can also form hoplite wall
so yeah im DYING for an update

how do i train them, i cant find them on the training tab

The hollow square still works, but the unit became capped and only available as a general unit...

hey I suppose it must be out of date, which is balls. I really hope the hollow square isn't broken, because this unit rocked it like a total champion... I'll test it sometime and get to work, sorry if it takes a while :)

So I downloaded this mod and now Rome won't open, any reason why that happened?

It will work with saved games, but if deactivated, saved games played while it was on will require it. (I think you can salvage saved games by disbanding all of them before deactivating, though)

I'd suggest checking them out first to make sure you want to keep it on :)

If I subscribe to this mod will I have to start a new game ?? I just want to know before because I mean hell this mod looks bloody amazing to say the least :P

Should be level 4 heavy barracks, but they changed the buildings for Emperor Edition so it might have messed it up.

It's probably better as a commander-only tbh though, a one-per-army limit would balance their stats out. I'll have to make sure it's on the Monument to Leonidas at least, but it might not be for a while because I've got a lot of stuff to do :S

Hi, does it list its recruitment on the Royal Barracks 4th tier or is it a generals only unit. So far in my game I don't see this unit listed for recruitment.

Their health is enough I think haha. I've taken minor cities even with buffed vanilla units, just using these guys as general. Hell, I've done it with half the men.

Here's a quick tutorial for modifying your version :)

- open mod in the PFM [www.twcenter.net]
- expand the mod until you find battle_entities
- add HP to 076923walls
- note that you'll have to scroll right to find the HP column

should take just a minute or two.

You can clone the sparta row and change it to macedon if you want to use it as sparta at any point :)
