Great one! Quick questions: How much percentage you make them faster than their original running speed? 20, 30%? How about those riding units like Egypt chariot and elephants?
Does this work with all DLC campaigns' units? And does this work some popular unit mods?

To those complaining about charge, speed and charge are seperate stats sadly. But there is a mod that fixes this called realistic charge impacts.

Is this compatible with Unit Mods? like for example: Sebidee's unit mod? I hope so because i dont want half the cavalry being slow and the other half darting past, but i would think it is compatible because of the small download size (0.002MB) Im going to give it a try. I just hate wasting time is all.

The problems with rome 2 is the cavalry is useing infantry entities instead of horse entities as they should. Light cav should be faster the heavy cav and shock cav.

Finally tracked the "No Mounts" issue down. Because some DLC put Javelin- like Thrown Weapons into the hands of many Units including Heavy and Medium Cav, B.A.M. "Better Arrows Mod" causes the horses to disappear. Go into R2 and remove the Pack File manually. I hope this helps, and I hope I was not annoying posting this here.

@101VaultBoy. Thanks for your help, but I still do have some Medium Cavalry who are still dismounted as well as Lights. Did go into my Steam>Apps>Common and delete the files. Fixed some of the problem with Heavier Cav. Just so you guys know. This is a new game I started.

@sutherlandj The mounted problem is from the radious battle mod. and as for not being able to delete, you must go into your game files and delete it manually. its a bug w the mod manager.

I unsubscribed and reinstalled my entire game. Yet, Heavy cavalry Units as well as my General's Cavalry Unit, have no mounts. The mod still shows up in my "mod manager", can not delete it, but can uncheck it. I use all Radeous mods. Effects all classes randomly, some are mounted some are not.

The overall sense of Speed is better and seems more rewarding, it's not super fast and it doesn't naturally speeds them up in all their phases but they're slightly faster on straight runs and I think this is what matters most. They feel a bit like in Empire to me, not as instant devastating.
Like suggested before speed differences between light, and heavy cavalry would make sense.

Hey, I've noticed that this mod messes up my skirmish cavalry units. They don't always skirmish. Just sit there and let heavy spearmen charge them. I never had that problem before.
