PSA: "open ammo boxes while walking" is NOT compatible with this mod

If you have any issues with anything in relation to this mod, make sure "open ammo boxes while walking" is NOT running on your save/server!

SKS AK Mag adapter was able to be fitted a few real life days ago and now suddenly is not able to be fitted anymore. I went on a massive looting run to find AK mags (which should definitely have their spawn rates increased, found 3 AKs and only one mag between multiple gun stores). I have essentially all the tools in the game in my inventory and am not able to fit the ak mag adapter to the sks. The rifle has no attachments on it

Does anyone know how to craft improvised silencers? They appear in CraftHelper but there is no option to actually craft one even if you have all the materials.

Dupe item reporting! Install bullet extender on shotgun, then unload it, than remove bullet extender - and your shotgun full of ammo again. Please, fix it. SKS - the same moment.
What about adding SG550, G3?

but then does the FAL magazine has a use? the fn fal itself refuses to take a loaded fn fal magazine and it only accepts the m14 one, so i was pretty confused

ChipR: not a mod conflict, M14 mags are shared between FAL and M14. Sharing mags across similar weapons is a common thread with this mod (so you don't have so many different mags floating around). For example, the Sig uses Baretta mags.

is it just me or the FN FAL requires M14 magazine instead of its own FN FAL magazine?

ah, i realize now the slings are different things. theres slings that are just basic attachments to the gun, a visual thing so to say.. then theres real slings that provide the slot

i made a Flashlight Suppressor, but it doesn't provide any light. how to fix?

i cant use slings, or i dont understand how. i attach rifle sling to gun, but it's just decorative. i can still only attach it to my back, not anywhere around my body like noirs rifle slings / jay's rifle slings update

Will this mods loot settings affect the guns that are supposed to spawn inside gun cases? With the original mod and vanilla when a gun case spawned it 90% of the time had a gun and a box of ammo in it. With this version of the mod while I get gun cases to spawn they never have any guns or ammo in them, is that supposed to happen? If it helps all my loot settings are set to the lowest possible same as they were with the original mod.

I'm gonna be honest, I love this mod. But it feels like guns break WAY too fast, I put 5 mags through an M16A1, and it started jamming after a single one, and by the time I got done, It was down a quarter of its durability. Any suggestions for fixing that?

my only problem (which aint a problem but more of an onconvinience) is the lever action rifle animation, is there any way for you to fix it so the character doesn't lower it then rechamber it, but have ut play out whole aiming? in VFE's fashion

I love the pistols in this mod, rapid fire head shots.
Though I'm pretty far into my playthrough and I still have no idea what weapon takes .22 ammo. I have mountains of the stuff and no way to use it.

Original mod isn't as good of quality as this version.

I'd like to see it updated for B42, hoping that it'll happen bc this is the only gun mod I'd ever use

The original version of Firearms B41, now just called Firearms, has already been pushed to B42 in beta. Probably not perfect but it's there.

What do you mean by that. You can take out the ammo out of the boxes if you put them in a separate garbage container? Or you're leaving them aside until you found a fix?

i seem to have the same issue as you guys, with the .30-06 ammo box, simply cannot open the box because the "open ammo box" doesn't appear.

How are sheaths from the sub-mod supposed to work? Looking in the files, it seems like they should be valid for anything with the BigBlade attachment tag, which includes machetes, and I also see mention of a sheath position for knives, but in-game they seem to only work for katanas.

@KeXe5 I dont have any additional firearm mods besides one off things but the ammo converted to the modded one, i have a headhunter mod that adds an additional gun, the rpg mod, and the AA12 mod, along with swatpack but swatpack has either its own ammo or uses 9mm but it shouldnt conflict

I can open the boxes and can put the ammo back into the box form without problems, im running with like 200 mods. Seems like you definitely have some conflicts, or you have to try unsubscribe then re-subscribe to the mod (wait some seconds between them).

Hi, I want to say i am not playing with any other conflicting firearm mods that would affect it but when trying to open the "Box of .30-06 Rounds" it wouldnt let me. its not even providing the option so im not able to load my BAR magazines atm

This is one of my favourite gun mods. It just adds the right amount of guns with good balancing, thank you @Myself for updating it. Also have one question. Can you please implement a similar function like VFE (Vanilla Firearms Expansion) have, in exact when the gun you firing jams, you always lose a bullet when you unjam the gun, but in VFE you get back the bullet in your inventory.

@michaelSkUu - please make sure you have the newest version, the last update in october should have fixed this bug and code should match the sandbox settings correctly
