I'm with LotLP, tbh. Like, these -feel- like they fit into pre-ToD balance, as a single gunship versus a single gyrobomber is a very favorable scenario for the gunship, at least in enough situations to be a good, unique addition.

4 gyrobombers versus a single gunship? You are basically getting almost equal amounts of crankgun, just as an example. Except the gyros are aimed, which... tends to work better in this case. It takes thunderbarge levels of suppressive fire to be worth having this kind of setup.

Tbf, this does NOT mean it should be units of 4 for the gunships! Not really sure what it needs, maybe just one more ship per unit, maybe just some carefully tweaked stats, but right now, most of them don't stand out.

like you said they're extremely powerful, hence the upkeep👀, way too op and spammy when it gets a lower upkeep but i'll see

So, am I doing something wrong or are these units just kinda not worth the upkeep? The napalm and rocket barrage ones are extremely powerful, but the other variants don't really let you target specific enemy units, so you can't focus down enemy ranged. Regular gyrocopters do this task extremely well.

I would love to see a gyro-copter that airdrops a unit of para-slayers on the enemy's head. Maybe some of the coding inspiration could come from siege towers? Cool mod though!

@Bevie yeah sadly, the riders does not affect how much damage they do in the unit stats

I am using 110 mods with all of my mods enable, and currentl;y in a turn 26 campaign with Malakai, I dont think my mods are causing the crash xd

Hi! A lovely mod, like all your other dwarf mods, I really like them. But I have a very sad problem with them, which I have been unsuccessfully struggling with for a week now.
When I have at least one of your dwarf mods enabled (except hashut polearms and engineers), the game crashes after the 15th turn and does not go any further. I've tried changing my mod build, taking turns testing your mods, and more. However, the game crashes anyway because of my favorite dwarf mods, it's sad. Do you know what this might be related to?

the 3d porthole is the unit camera on the left side of the screen during battle xD, and yes they have the same stats, but different set of weapon teams, sadly it doesnt reflect on the unit info

I might just be dumb and in the bugs section "Bugged 3D Porthole" might be what I am experiencing but the rifle and shotgun gunships have the same stats according to unit info?

did you enable the mod? you should see new units on custom battle under 'Flying War Machines'
