4 gyrobombers versus a single gunship? You are basically getting almost equal amounts of crankgun, just as an example. Except the gyros are aimed, which... tends to work better in this case. It takes thunderbarge levels of suppressive fire to be worth having this kind of setup.
Tbf, this does NOT mean it should be units of 4 for the gunships! Not really sure what it needs, maybe just one more ship per unit, maybe just some carefully tweaked stats, but right now, most of them don't stand out.

When I have at least one of your dwarf mods enabled (except hashut polearms and engineers), the game crashes after the 15th turn and does not go any further. I've tried changing my mod build, taking turns testing your mods, and more. However, the game crashes anyway because of my favorite dwarf mods, it's sad. Do you know what this might be related to?
Is it compatible with save games?
