I love the idea of capturing a HVT because i am used to keep shooting until the target is dead. I switched to sidearms for him!

Cool mission, felt like something straight out of the Apex campaign. Hope I get to continue the story some day, I'm invested.
One thing that seemed goofy/maybe intentional, when you blow up the escape cessnas at the airfield, then in the distance you see enemy helicopters coming in to drop off enemy soldiers. I went to commandeer those AA launchers by the hanger, but they don't seem to blow up the helos like they should. Almost looks like the missile detonates before it reaches the helo. Maybe this was on purpose to avoid making it too easy, idk. Cool mission either way, I had fun.

To be complete honest, when i playtest i didn't use Grave's UH-80 FFV mod so it didn't cross my mind haha. Most of my tests were done with pretty simple mods like Project SFX, Hit & Death animation, and maybe JSRS.

SAS and airfield storming, am I right?

My only complaint was not being able to commandeer that armed 4WD at the factory hehe

Also for some reason, using Grave's UH-80 FFV mod causes the 2 seats on the extraction helo to be locked, which meant I had to "terminate" one of my squad members to be able to fit the squad + HVT. Not sure why that happened, I never had issues with the mod on any other mission.

Nice mission. One remark if I dare : It would be a little bit harder but more satifsying if the officer in the optional mission would not be followed by the mission icon.

Understood (and somehow steam just told me of this reply) i think at least thank you. (i would add my comments of liking the mission but i been dragged around since teh 24th dealing with work and such so i havent had free time to truely play the mission)

Hey there. From my experience that may happens when you forgot to change the sound files name in the .BIKB files into the ones you've inserted in your mission scenario folder, Calling "BIS_fnc_kbTell" without adjusting to the appropriate topics, or something. Can't really say on your case if i don't see the issue directly.

Hope i've described it enough. Language barrier really made it hard to explain it properly :)

Question, unless you only did one set of voice acting how did you get it to accept and play more then one sound file? when i tried previously no matter what i did it would only play one sound file recording throughout a mission, anyway i plan to play this soon.

Hey man, as always thanks for checking it out :)

The Tanoan Separatists are intended to have green Gora outfits as their uniform. I did give them a bit of variety by mixing up everyone with different headgears, facemasks, and loadouts. For teamswitch, sorry but no. It will ruin the kbtell system since it is dependent on the player character to voice it.

:steamthumbsup:Excellent, as always, voice acting and balance! But perhaps the variety of enemy clothing will be better and more lively. And I won’t get tired of asking you to make Teamswitch for the squad. This will diversify tactical options and eliminate the need to create a script to prevent the AI from getting stuck.

Agreed. with the same logic in mind,i use a similar "teleport" script on radio trigger to select any squad mate and teleport him to my position(after issuing hold) and this works well if you want to position your guys in buildings,or locations their pathing cannot get them to.

Yep i agree. Sometimes the AI just go doodoo and get stuck in a building or some corner somewhere. Using this should mitigate such issues

Thank you Sir. i had a look i am going to use this for all friendly groups in my scenario at various intervals. Much appreciated and lovely to see Tanoa used as a location for more scenarios. Such a script is needed here and on Malden.

When a Requirement says "Contact:platform" does that mean the fully paid DLC or is this like a DLC lite content addon?

If the HVT is already crouching, then he already surrendered and ready to be detained. Tried to be subtle by making the player do the pointing gesture to signal it but i stray shots happens i guess. May add a hint to make it clearer. :)

"20 Minutes duration" false, did it in 19. But jokes aside cool mission, wasn't sure what's about "non-critical" shots at HVT because he was already on his knees upon me reaching him but then I figured out I probably managed to hit him through the loo door

Solid work, I really liked the custom built areas (and I am amazed how the AI handled that haha). Storyline is great and the missions really build up to something! Keep it up, once again!

Well, I probably gonna keep the location since the mission will come out wayy in the future anyways haha + I wouldn't add all those custom locations like you did. Really good job on those as well, especially the airstrip feld really natural and nice imo
