I'm not sure, but if you want you can take the source code of the mod and modify it to suit your needs.

You gave me an idea, maybe we should add the ability to also change the value of the zombie Spawn Rarity item modifier

Right now the rarity is calculated for example by default:
Common: 3(player choice) * 4(rarity modifier)
In addition, in the function of adding loot to inventory, each zombie for each type of item can have its own rarity modifier:
SR.rarity(Common: 1, Uncommon = 0.8, Rare = 0.7, VeryRare = 0.6, ExtraRare = 0.4, Elite = 0.3, Legendary = 0.1)
That is, if you chose the default and the food is set to the rarity common and the zombie rarity modifier SR.common, the chance of food spawning will be 3 * 4 * 1 = 12

but if you give the opportunity to change the SR rarity table, then you can customize the rarity to suit your needs
choosing for example SR.rarity(Common: 0.2, Uncommon = 0.1, Rare = 0.05, VeryRare = 0.03, ExtraRare = 0.02, Elite = 0.015, Legendary = 0.01)

Suggestion: Introduce another level of rarity with very low loot. I wanted to add this to my setup but I found that too many zombies carry whole loaves of bread and other "strong" foods on them even on the lowest setting, which makes things a little too easy.

OH wow, that sounds amazing.

But to clarify, I wasn't saying the mod lacks unique loot as content. I was saying that stuff that spawns for all zombies, like food and stationary, feel very common. Our group can basically survive on candy from Zomboids at the lowest spawn rate. Rather than having a motivation to kill more, the ones that just get in our way give more loot than we can use.

The things that only some zombies carry like extra medical stuff on medical personnel don't stand out against all the other loot. I think if the universal items were a little rarer and the professions had more variety than their loot would feel more special.

Loving the mod though and very excited to see how it develops.

I'm new to modding and this mod is my first step in creating a real mod with professions. My goal is to diversify the zombie loot so that players have additional motivation to kill them, and not just because of the threat they pose. Ideally, I'd like to master 3D and add new tools and items for zombies. In addition, I plan to add various consumables that can be crafted using these materials obtained from zombies.

Been playing with the new version for a bit now. It's a lot better but I think rarity could be improved.

Common items, especially food, are too common overall and tend to overshadow profession specific stuff.

Gum is strangely absent from the spawns but it seems to work well with most modded items.

I still think a new even more rare config option is needed for hardcore play.

I really like the profession based loot and think it's what sets this apart from other zombie loot mods but as I said the generic stuff tends to make it less noticable. More vareity in the profession specific loot could help here as well.

Im going to assume zombies running around with chair legs as weapons is this mod's doing. Hopefully its not intended and can be fixed. Instead of using a chair as a weapon, I would expect kitchen knives, baseball bats, pipes or hammers to be the first weapon you use in a zombie apocalypse. Being America it would make sense that they would use guns, but that would completely destroy the balance. Maybe add a VERY, VERY low chance that a civilian carries a gun.

No problem, I myself thought of reducing the default spawn by 2 times. The mod is made so that the rarity in the code is very easy to change, I was thinking about adding preset options or letting you choose the spawn percentage of certain items yourself?

Regarding weapons, I’ll see if it’s possible to somehow add them to the hands of zombies.

Very nice mod, the loot is pretty cool and appropriate. Not sure where they keep the furniture bits since it's not in hand or stuck in them but most of it really makes sense.

Default values are a little high for more hardcore play and even Low is pretty generous. It's perfect for the current scenario I'm doing but I think an even rarer option would be good for really hardcore players who still want some more detail in loot.

It cannot interfere with other mods, since this mod does not replace but adds loot spawning.

There is no support for other mods yet (items from other mods will not spawn in backpacks and zombies unless provided for by another mod), however, I will soon add support for popular mods so that if they are available, items from mods will also spawn.

щас как раз это тестирую, если получится добавить испорченную еду если игровое время позднее) щас самое главное настроить спавн оружия корректно, ато иногда у простых зомби могут попадать удочки что не логично)

Это наверное лишнее. Она по идее должна быть испорчена. Разве только, если очень-очень редко в кармане зомби можно найти какой-то протеиновый батончик. И то если профессия у него была связана со спортом.

I plan to add additional loot for types of zombies (additional guns, etc. for zombies)

Sandbox settings have already been implemented; the mod will be ready 05/19/2024

It is planned to add support for other mods for food, weapons, etc.
