Just a confirmation that this is working. One thing though, the mod originally had faction effects. Those are missing. Anyway to recover those? Oh, and thanks very much for the mod. Well done.

English Translation + this is still a CTD. Only way I can get it to work is to keep it in the original language. Any ideas?

I will try with Prop Joe's WH3MM but I doubt that's the cause. I'm using Frodo's Runcher - not the default CA launcher.

Ya I'm really not sure why it wouldn't work as it works perfectly fine for me and I can't replicate it not showing in my game.

To be more specific: the names of mod-added characters are blank. Reskinned characters like Rorek Granitehand still have their English names.

I mean it works thru the launcher for me just fine. I can't really fix something that isn't broken for me sorry.

TBH you really should be using the WH3MM from here anyways: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2845454582

As the default launcher for Total War games is trash.

Thanks, i went back and checked mods and your patch had moved below the main mod when i was switching around mods, moved it above and works. Thanks again.

Would recommend using the Warhammer 3 Mod Manager and not the default launcher.

I will mention that this needs to be above the required mod in the load order otherwise it might not work.

Reopened the file in the pack editor and saved it with the updates so hopefully that fixes it?

It worked when I booted it up in my game so hopefully it works.

I've seen that was well and I have no real idea why they keep turning on and off. I've had them turn back on after reloading but it's fairly iffy.

@Mattis I also have noticed this but I've double checked the files and there is no other text and the actual text DB to be fixed.

Only thing I can think of is the author for some reason localized things in the actual effect DB's and I haven't been able to find them. One of these days I'm going to have to just dig thru every DB in the original mod and see if I can find them.

@Alexandros Megas Ya unfortunately that is something you'd have to report to the main mod/the recruit LL mod since this is only a text editing mod.

Best solutions I can give you if to either use the Execute Lords/heros mod to remove them so there is no upkeep issues.

The Heroes I get throught the Recruit Defeated LLs mod don't work. They're stuck in the map, next to my capital, with me being unable to click on them, and they don't show up on my Heroes & Lords list.

This issue is happening even if I deactivate the main mod and the translation mod.

Had a similar issue but with vanilla. According to a poster, they are "Those things are colonels, placeholder agents that pop up when something goes wrong". If someone could help me with this issue.

Thank you for this fix! Game stopped crashing!

I'm noticing some missing names and such though, and there are no descriptions for the character skills, but perhaps there were none from the start?

Ya I don't edit anything other then the text DB's they changed the names to look like that for some reason not much I can do about it myself without breaking whatever they did.

Thanks for your work mate. Mod is working now except for last name lol. Do note, the unit cards and other effects are good, it just only shows the first name when you select an army(bottom middle) and in recruit screen. Faction select still shows the original lord's name, but the mod character portrait. This doesn't affect loading in at all.

So for anyone reading this, I'm pretty sure its a Mixer/Mixu thing.

Playable, though. Again, thanks for the fast updates.

Alright latest version should fix the names no longer working.

I still haven't figured out if there is faction effects from these heroes or not. Need to dig thru the effects and see if he, for some reason, loced them in the actual effects/scripts like a dummy or if that is just how TWW3 works.

Either way should be working again enough to play the mod.

The previous english version doesn't work with the current game version so it's not this mods fault.

Alright had to do like 3 force downloads but I finally see the issue. Probably to spite me he changes all the names from being on loc key each to 2 loc keys and also changed their unique keys. Will have a update done at some point this week.

I've tried a bunch of stuff, mostly load order changes, but for now the names remain blank. I'm fairly certain it has to do something with Mixer or Mixu's Legendary Lords, as both were updated today as well (and mod Dwarf LLs). Either way, we wait, thanks.

So I just tested it a bit and it's definitely not working for me, new campaign, re-subscribed, validated, and it just shows a blank. Not a " . " like before, just blank. What's strange, however, is that a regular Runelord also had a blank name.

Strangely enough on my end the translation still works fine and I don't see any changes in the translation from my quick scanning. Will do a upload again as hopefully that will fix it?

Only other solution I can say is make sure this is loaded above the main mod in your launcher as it needs to overwrite the main mods tables.

alexschulzwell, The main mod was updated today, so it seems to have broken this one. In my playthrough, the names are now blanks. Just gotta wait i suppose.

I'll double check the mod but I translated everything in the text database so everything should be translated.

If it's set somewhere else the original author is a idiot afaik then but I'll give it a once over at some point this weekend.

Does the mod come with faction effect for new leading Lord like Rorek or Brokk ? If so, I think you're missing those translations.

So none of the text in this mod is working for me. There is only a . in place of names, abillitys and descriptions of skills. Have tried the main mod on it's own, with translating mods and resupscribing to the mods nothing have worked anny one else getting this as well?

Ya it wouldn't surprise me. Google is a strange mistress and the name table isn't their code names but random numbers assigned to them.

I'll do a double check later and see about correcting them.

Some of the Legendary Lord's names are incorrect in campaign, Byrrnoth and Brokk being good examples.

@Multay as far as I can find there isn't any text I didn't translate so it seems that they do not have faction effects or it's a issue on the main mods end.

Hmm I'll look into that. Wouldn't surprise me if those are somehow localized in different DB's then the text which is a wild time.

I didn't edit any of the effects so everything from the original mod still stands of course so if they do they still do.
