@Tone make sure you remove all the leftovers from the Data folder too. Sometimes they don't get deleted properly.

For me it's also around 30-50 but mainly it happens if 2 mods change uniforms or do a reskin.

Adding units itself seems to be the least problematic from them all.

Also the cap refers to only mods that are active in mod manager.

The cap is different for each user. Some say 80 before they see issues like CTD but some say less before they start seeing missing textures, like in the 30s range. I'm gonna start using pfm to merge my mods soon.

I met similar problem before. Do you know what is the cap numbers the mods we could use? I remember it was 37....Do you know how could we break that limit? Thank you!
By the way, that 35/37, does it mean the mods we installed or we activate?

@Murray222 I figured out my issue. Your mod is fine. I get missing textures when I use more than 35 mods.

No unit mods at all. I deleted my mods, verified files and reinstalled my mods. I will check again when I get home

@Over used Meme: Actually I want to add that but I just forget to write it down on my to-do list. I may update the mode after the release of the up-coming dlc as now I'm playing the patch beta. For the formation, maybe I will not removed the diamond formation and just add the wedge one. Adding things is just much easier and create less problems with other mods then removing stuff from the vanilla one.

think you could give the Macedonian Cav wedge instead of Diamond. Historically they were trained to use the wedge, not the wedge the Romans have but, if possible, the one some of the Barbarian Factions have since that seems to be the way they formed up, if that specific formation works obviously.

@Bladeluoxi: This mod still works as I have tested. All you need to do is to enable out of date mod, and I might do a little bit update during Easter.

@Legionarius: I personally never count it, i'd say about 20+. And I think it is not compatible, as this mod also do the same thing.

@frecciasarda1: The point with Sardinian is tons of new model. Though I have learnt how to edit vanilla model now, which is still difficult and time consuming, making new model is simply what I cannot do on my own, so unfortunately it a no go. But recently I am thinking about adding celtiberan spearmen and punic caetrati cav to Carthage and royal pike to Pergamon
