I hope you do! Modular ships are amazing to me
IngenieroFeliz  [author] 26 Jul @ 11:15am
@Jynx The Cat That ship is a project for a modular mobile base. It's development is halted at this time, but I may retake it at some point

Loving this ship! I'm curious what the main craft is in one of the other pictures. looks like it's an Orange one for sure
IngenieroFeliz  [author] 10 Nov, 2024 @ 11:57am
@redix_244 Yes, in fact that's the whole purpose of this ship: go planetside, explore, then back to space. You'll need to find some ice first to fuel up, but you can do the space-surface-space trip several times on a full tank of H2 in this ship.
Also, by orbital insertion I just mean outside gravity wells, as you can't actually achieve orbit in SE. But you probably already knew that.
redix_244 10 Nov, 2024 @ 6:49am
wdym orbital insertion? can i build it on earth like and be able to get to space and be in space ?
IngenieroFeliz  [author] 30 Aug, 2024 @ 6:31pm
@X_SquadGaming It is the name I gave to the event controller that acts as autopilot for reaching space. The 'autopilot' is very bare-bones though...
Glitcher 25 Jul, 2024 @ 12:19pm
what is the ascent control?
IngenieroFeliz  [author] 24 Jun, 2024 @ 9:17am
Hi, I've never modded a respawn ship in, but you can try this guide: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=406748833&searchtext=respawn+ships .
There may even be a guide on youtube you can look for, hope this helps!

How can I get this to replace the spawn shop/drop pod?
IngenieroFeliz  [author] 7 Jun, 2024 @ 11:34am
I appreciate the feedback. The fans are there to increase endurance in planets with atmosphere, since this is a survival oriented ship. I tried to integrate them as much as possible in the exterior hull. It could be fun to convert It to a space-only version though...

Its a really thoughtful design on its exterior. Your taste in geometry break-up is wonderful. I wondered about the cardinal edges of the box and why you didn't use 45 degrees but understand well enough why you wouldn't. My only complaint is the fans. Its such a nice offset design concept though. Maybe a MK II down the road will have some improvements.

Sorry about potato quality :P
IngenieroFeliz  [author] 30 May, 2024 @ 2:49pm
@Chris I like to think it is a mix between Hardspace and Homeworld, although the original concept was more like Star Wars, like this https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3257814797

I gathered this was partly inspired from the ships in Hardspace: Shipbreaker. If that's so it's a very good translation of it. :3

Love it :selike:

That reminds me a lot of the Albion Skunk from X: Rebirth.
IngenieroFeliz  [author] 28 May, 2024 @ 1:38pm
Thank you everyone for the very positive feedback! I usually do not have much free time for SE anymore, but when inspiration arrives I try to allocate some time for a project or two. Maybe another assymetric ship, I'd like to see more of those in the workshop...

Quesarito sounds like quesadilla to me lol, or maybe Quesito=small cheese in Spanish. I guess that's what I get for trying to sound 'serious' with Latin words xD
IGC Frontline Medic 28 May, 2024 @ 8:42am
Holy Salvage! Can't belive, that I stumbled on this Hardspace-y, stunning, little jewel as soon as I started listening to Labour of Love XD

Instant sub, follow and fav. Hope there will be more of these beauties coming in the future, mate. (Maybe even that neat looking Salvage Bay~). I love the Shipbreaker-style design influence. Keep up the awesome work. :se::hssbwork:
PaladinDrake 28 May, 2024 @ 7:51am
Like Arock said, this looks very Hardspace and I love that. Also, I really do apologize for this, but I can't help but read the name as Quesarito
Arock 27 May, 2024 @ 8:14am
Nice. Love the Hardspace Shipbreaker style of it.
nyannokonekko 27 May, 2024 @ 7:12am
Was working on a ship that looks like this but a lot worse and to the side of the pilot seat glass was a buncha guns xD
Scya 27 May, 2024 @ 1:47am
Everything here is done just right. Its beutiful.
Parker Posey's Mouth 26 May, 2024 @ 1:03pm
The homeworld vibe is selling me on this as a new build goal. I love it!
IngenieroFeliz  [author] 26 May, 2024 @ 3:09am
@Zoomie67 Yes, you are right about the Mackerel look. My initial sketches already considered the assymetric cockpit and external engine pods, but cilindrical instead of rectangular. They didn't look as good in SE though, and had less usable volume for the actual engines, so I went the Hardspace way of blockyness. Also the craft was less sleek-looking at first, like a heavy dropship instead of an exploration ship, so I increased its length and added a bit of a 'waist'.
So I'll admit it, it looks like a Mackerel.
Zoomie67 25 May, 2024 @ 9:34pm
I like the Hardspace Shipbreaker: Mackerel look, weather intended or not. I might have the ship type wrong in this comment.
Braus 25 May, 2024 @ 1:35pm
That is *so* cool!
Grebanton1234 25 May, 2024 @ 8:46am
Very cool and unique shape you got there!
IngenieroFeliz  [author] 25 May, 2024 @ 1:41am
Merci! Thank you! I'm glad you find it cool
[1] Echo-77 24 May, 2024 @ 8:27pm
There's some brilliant shapework here, I like it a lot
Blitzeim 24 May, 2024 @ 8:11pm
The asymmetry is unique
