It can be played SP or MP. Run it MP is better (even if you are only one player), because then you can choose to lead either the south team or the north team (for more variation in gameplay). Also note that it is slightly broken by a BIS patch (which caused marksman loadout to be scrweed up). If you wait a week I am just about to release an updated cleaner version.

Mozzrella, thanks for the report. I have never experienced CTD in hundreds of run throughs. But I am planning an update soon, as the last arma 3 patch caused a few problems, like the marksman no longer has ebr as default. Sry you had a problem, stay tuned for a new release.

This really seems like a great mission, however as soon as we kill the northern patrols, we get CTDs. It was a privately hosted server by the way, not sure if this problem is on my end but...just so you know.

Hey Johnnyboy. Thanks for the exciting mission. Protecting the ship is a real challenge. We found this mission very replayable thanks to the random elements. We had a good laugh when we blew the tower, and with the "inside jokes" on the AI. Keep up the good work.

@Vidjay: Thanks much for the detailed feedback. That's awesome you had 30 players in it. I wish I was there! I just played again myself, and it still surprises me because it goes down different every time. Sometimes the trees are leveled by a bomb which changes the landscape, sometimes you can shoot a vbied boat just before it hits its target. The ship has 4 random directions of travel making mission flow to protect it vary. Great to hear your feedback. Happy holidays to the Hellhounds, 23 RHP, and CPARES!

Hello Johnnyboy,
We played your mission on an interclan session, adding only some ammoboxes, and starting of the beaches north and south of the Island. We played it with 3 clans (Hellhounds IT, 23 RHP FR, and CPARES FR) HH was in charge of the assault south, 23 RHP north, and CPARES in charge of the security at sea, and later on, center of the island.Total amount of players : 30. The mission went very well, was fast and intense :). We played it once again but by night because we finished the assault on 12minutes chrono (with many players coordinated this goes quick it is normal). So quick, fast and intense mission, with great scripts/codes. The multiple ending is a very good idea ! Thank you again for your great work ! keep it up !! you are doing well

Dude, i had to buy new underwear because I had so much fun. Loved the naval aspect, trying to shoot the attack boats in time was a challenge. Great mission. Thanks alot!

EpicGoldenWarrior: Sry to hear that. Was it a glitch, or was he shot? If he was shot I would guess that he drove boat to landing spot other than what was in mission briefing. That is by design, because MG lookouts have been neutralized by agent Cojon at only the designated infiltration spots. If he is dying while exiting boat, then that is a strange bug. Never happened to me in 1000 test runs, and no one else reported this problem. Have any more details? Using any mods?

Thanks Joakim! Did you try it as both Alpha and Bravo? The experience is different if you come from the North or the South. Also, since the ship's starting point and direction of travel is random, the mission flow will be different every time. Thanks for taking the time to rate and comment. That helps encourage me to produce more missions.

The mission whas really fun! :P not so hard but not so easy :P
and im playing with a Ai mod called ASR AI3 and Authentic gameplay mod.

ill give it 5/5. the mission whas a bit short for me but i did like it anyway ^^ and the sniper in the old farm place whas good ;)

Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for making the effort to post. I really appreciate it. I'll be posting a Final Version tonight or tomorrow for the MANW contest. I've added the option to play at 3 different times: Morning (how it is now), Full Moon no NVGs, or dark Night with NVGs. Plus made the Protect the Ship objective more clear to player and cleaned up a lot of small things.

i replay it and completed the mission, it wwas great eventough i didn't manage to save the poor ship, but as you said at the end of the mission, nobody is perfect ;p

No worries cyrcy. Glad to hear you'll give it another go. When the boats head for the ship you need to shoot them. Its easiest for the MG and marksman. But the further away they get the harder it is to shoot them. Once you learn where the ship is, you need to head to that side of the island to screen for them if you want to keep the ship alive. The starting point for the ship is random, so you need to listen for the in-game dialogue cues if you don't know where it is. Good luck and have fun.

cyrcy, thanks for posting. I don't know what to do about balance. You find it hard, but another poster on forums says "But concerning balance, I'm afraid for ten players this is not so much of a challenge, I did this alone and found it quite easy, as the opponents are relatively weak." So it was way too easy for him. My advice is to advance slowly. I can beat it only about 25% of the time playing solo. I'm assuming its easier the more real players there are. Regarding the agent , think about what you can do to keep him from getting shot as you close in. You can do it.

Dinky Dow REMF, neither, I mean in the screen where you first see the map. The tasks were shown there but no briefing entries. It is not a big issue, really, but generally I like to read the briefing "in peace" before the actual action begins.

Played it twice, lost the trawler on both occasions. I'm gonna play it again. Laughed aloud when the alpha team's leader taunted the glitchy AI about swimming and "low ammo" whining. Loved the setting and the not-so-serious atmosphere. One point of criticism: the mission briefings are not showing before the actual mission begins. Anyroad, upvoted and recommended, keep up the good work!
