At first the mod worked great and suddenly the front side of the helmet was missing. It's a shame, please fix it! Really good MOD!
Even re-installing the game, mod, without other mods, and turning the mod off and on didn't help.
Tried all variants, especially around Christmas it still worked...

@sigmars_disciple no need tp run this mod with the original master engineer mod. this mod supports all factions of the empire meaning all empire factions can recruit the master engineer with the reskin version.

Regarding @Mortarch of Blood. I was referring to the mod link he sent which is ChaosRobbies
Empire Master Engineers III which i thought would conflict with this mod as both modify the master engineer vanilla. upon inspecting there seems to be no problem, its just that the EME3 has a missing and outdated tables.

I still recommend considering to work the essential bits of info from the comments under your mods and making everything as clear as possible also for modding newbies (just as this is what I'd want as a user), but hey - they are your mod pages <3 Have a good one

Regarding Chaos Robie's mod: it's just that a couple of comments below (and just a couple of hours ago) you replied to @Mortarch of Blood that Unique Steam Tanks would crash with your mod and that you had to make a "temp fix" version of the mod in order for everything to work fine. So I thought I also will need this patched/updated version of the mod and asked you to please share it.

I'm glad to hear it does seem to work just with CR's original mod now out of the box and without the fixes you made, correct? Perfect, but then I guess you should remove the stuff you wrote below to Mortarch because this will confuse people just like it did me.... <3
Unless I completely misunderstand, there are now 2 pretty conflicting statements right next to one another.

Although I'm still not sure now if I can or cannot run THIS mod and the original "Master_Engineer_Reskin" mod you made (affecting Wissenland) together or not if the changes should apply to the 2 factions.

It sounds like it's possible to run them in parallel but if you could confirm that again for me? Thx

@sigmars_disciple I aso use Chaos Robie's Unique Steam Tanks mod and it works well with all my mods so i wont be making a combined version of it as they don't conflict one another.


U can use this mods along with my other mods using the load order

Imperial Carmine Dragon for Karl Franz - Just for Fun haha
Ironfist + Colossus of Nuln

most of the mods works fine with other mods and does not cause conflicts between them ;)

I do use Chaos Robie's Unique Steam Tanks mod as well and would love if you could upload that mod/patch for it. <3 I'm following your Workshop now - thanks!

I would just move the important info up to the description so everybody reads it ;)

Like "This mod, like the other version of this mod (link), reskins the vanilla ..... when you're playing as Karl Franz/Reikland.

Unlike the original mod XY (link) which only gives my reskinned hero to the faction of Wissenland, use this is you play as Reikland / Karl Franz..... You can use both mods to reskin both factions at the same time OR Choose one of your mods but don't run them at the same time....

Compatibility: You can use this with Sigmar's Heirs .... etc." You know? :)

Me and the other nerds who have commented so far we'd probably figure most of these things out ourselves, but I promise you the average Steam user probably won't <3

fahad.c Nice! feel free to tell me the results and u can add me on steam. i know a way u can get all warhammer 3 dlcs for free and hopefully i think that will help with your problem as i think some of the gears used in helmets are in the locked dlcs.

@Mortarch Of Blood I have tried using this mod with sigmars heir and there is no problem. but when i tried it on ChaosRobbies mod it crashes as the mod is outdated and need to be updated by the author. I updated the tables and changed some effects table as it was missing due to warhammmer 3 getting an update. after that i managed to make them work together and if u need the mod i can make an upload of the updated version of ChaosRobbies mod.

As for Snek's reskins i dont think there will be a problem as he does not change any master engineer skins and u can use that mod. make sure the load order is
Master Engineer and then Sneks reskins.

Hi, I do have the Elspeth part of the dlc only, don't have dwarves or nurgle. I do have rpfm already so Ill give that all a go. Thank you for the advice, I really appreciate you taking the time. Hopefully can find a solution haha

@fahad.c Do you have the thrones of decay dlc? also if you can somehow follow these steps so that i can see what the problem might be. if its the mod or the vanilla data folder that's causing the error for the face mask.

Step 1 Download Rusted Pack File Manager on Github and Install

Step 2 Open Master Engineer pack file located in your workshop data folder usually it is located in D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\1142710. Find the master engineer pack and open it with RPFM

Step 3 Once RPFM is opened with the master engineer pack. Click pack file at the top right and go to settings. u can total war warhammer paths and u need to locate your warhammer 3 file location which is mainly in D:/SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/Total War WARHAMMER III folder.

Step 4 Install kit Assembly for total war warhammer 3. once installed locate the exe file and copy the path and paste in the assembly kit path in RPFM

Step 5 At RPFM on the top right u can see special stuff warhammer 3 and generate dependencies cache.

Step 6 u can see Diagnostics in botttom click the pause button and see if there is any error or yellow mark.

Thats a shame, I have tried verifying and all the files were in order. Would love to use the reskin but I guess the chaos gods don't want it to happen. Even the regular engineer reskin wont show up at all, the model is unchanged. I know its probably something on my end but I have no idea what it could be, I'm running the game with max settings and never had issues with mods before.
Quite frustrating but thanks for the response regardless.

@Mortarch Of Blood i havent tried sigmars heir yet. but if it edits the reskin of a master engineer in the vanilla. there will be a conflict as both writes over the original version. can u provide a link to sigmar's heirs / chaos robbies and ill see what i can do.

Hi, appreciate the upload. Unfortunately just like the original mod there is a visual bug where the face mask and visor doesn't appear and is bugged. All that's visible on the head is the face with a missing nose. Any idea what the cause might be? I've tried running without any other mods but it still happens.

@sigmars_disciple Sorry about that. The original Master Engineer reskin mod was only compatible with the Wissenland faction and didn't work for other Empire factions like Karl Franz's. This updated mod resolves that issue, allowing Karl Franz to recruit the Master Engineer with the reskin. It's a standalone mod, so you don't need to activate the original one.

Maybe it's my age, but I think this could be a bit clearer in describing the problem it solves ;)

Also, you should clarify if this is supposed together or INSTEAD of the linked mod, no?
