Unfortunately though, it seems that the Earthshaker Cannons aren't increasing unit capacity with other artillery!

There is some problem with Pit Hunters cap - the game keeps displaying "not enough armaments" message when I try and increase its limit even if I have more than the displayed number. Tried with 1k+ armaments above the displayed value just to be sure and nothing changed.

I also had barracks building on proper lvl - allowing their recruitment.

I don't suppose you have a chance to look any deeper into the sound issues? I know it may be an issue with the update, but could that just be needing a slightly changed line in db?

@Starfruitz - Sounds like Steam hasn't automatically downloaded the latest version of this mod on your end. Resubscribing should fix it.

I'm getting a crash when I launch the game with this mod installed due to an invalid database record it. I'll write it down:

@diggingdwarf26 - Thanks for letting me know about the Pit Hunters' Armanents cost issue! This will be fixed shortly after patch 5.2 comes out.

Yes, the Dais only buffing units with Contempt is indeed intentional. I can't make it work with Hellforged units that don't also have that attribute, such as the aforementioned K'daai Fireborn, since 1) it isn't possible to do so and 2) they aren't considered to be Chaos Dwarfs for the same reason Hobgoblins aren't, anyway.

As for the issue regarding Hashut's Gunpowder Units, perhaps you should contact the author of that mod about it?

i am having an issue where pit hunters cost doesnt increase as you invest more armaments, but all the other units work normally.

in addition, the dais of the stone sorcerer only buffs units with contempt. K'daai fireborn lack this attribute. would you want to include one of their traits in the buff conditions of the dais so they get buffed too, or is this intentional?

lastly, i am also having some issues with the units from Hashut's gunpowder units mod also not increasing armaments cost properly. it doesnt stop increasing entirely, but it increases by less than 5. i saw you said your issue was a simple fix in the modding discord. this is in no way your responsibility, so do whatever you want, but if you were also interested in this mod, maybe you could check that mod to see if the mod author made the same mistake you did, and tip him off about it? once again, its not your problem, im just mentioning it.

I figured out how to fix the issue I was having, the battle loaded when I used RPFM to reduce the unit count of Ironback Dragoons. The battle would load fine with at least 6 Ironback Dragoon models and crashed at 20 models (though the opposing AI did have an full stack of vanilla bretonnian infantry units).

So I concluded that it was likely an performance issue, so I just changed unit quality from medium to low (in the graphics settings) and reverted the DB changes I did to the pack file and it worked fine with an entire stack of Ironback Dragoons with Ultra sized units (ie. 32 models per unit).

Love the update! Small issue, the earth shaker has no firing sound :(. Everything else works fine just no firing BOOM.

The game crashes when it has filled up the loading bar on the loading screen when starting a skirmish battle with a unit of Ironback Dragoons. Zhatan the Black or an Overseer riding a Ironback Boar does not cause a crash, but Ironback Dragoons do seem to cause a crash and this is with only this mod enabled.

Thanky AndrewOverlord glad you got the bug finally fixed (fyi I'm queen mab just changed my name) hope it wasn't to stressful to deal with, and hope you enjoy the new patch!

Also to the few commentors who even with it written in the gods damned description and seeing a pretty clear explanation of the bug on the same page of comments you wrote yours and why it was gonna take time to fix, go learn to read!!! Its not hard to look over the description of a mod before using it or if you encounter a bug, and be aware people like you are the reason so many modders get burnt out and eventually quit resulting in some of the best mods been abandoned.

Just be aware that the cap issue likely will take sometime for the author to fix. It involves Lua scripts which as far as I'm aware not many modders in the community have knowledge on them, never mind been able to get one to help as they usually have a host of their own mods to maintain along with been humans with their own real life issues to deal with. Its also likely the reason that not many unit mods for chorfs have ever been made since their launch.

Saying that if anyone does have knowledge or think they can learn how it works I'm sure the author would appreciate some assistance. I tried to help but sadly its beyond my abilities as I've only ever made simple unit mods for personal use that only require table editing.

This is a really good unit pack, they are all thematic AF and not generic. You can reasonably expect these as official units.

One volley from ironback dragoons completely annihilates hp pool of non-single entity units. They're a cool unit but that missile attack does need a nerf.

Ok well out of my league on this one. I got most of the entries that should allow for the ironbacks to work, but their is an invalid entry on aov519_chd_hellforge_unit_cap_unlocker_ironback_riders (renamed it to match your scheme) and when I tried to see where the siege giant mod referred to its hellforged unit cap unlocker I couldn't find a table with it in. I did notice though there is a lua script in it that has something to do with the hellforged caps, meaning I'm no longer going to be able to help on the matter.

I'll see if lily or dead have any experience with lua scripts but its unlikely from previous talks they've had about modding but I can try I guess.

@AndrewOverload519 No sorry to report, still the same issue. Don't know for sure but Dead Baron or Decomposed might be able to help you out more. They both worked on the expanded roster Chaos Dwarf mod although when I first tried to use their mod for comparison it looks like they used a script to add those units in (don't quote me on that I'm not even close to an expert). Sorry to give you a problem to fix, I seem to have a habit of spotting bugs, but I just want a mod of such high quality to be the best it can be.

Hope you can find someone with more knowledge on the matter. I might have a poke around again later to try and fix it too if my health permits it.

Ok after spending an hour and a half poking around your mod and the seige breaker giant mod for comparison, seems like your missing quite a few key tables. Those been pooled_resources_tables, pooled_resource_factor_junctions_tables and the entries you then the stuff you need to add to resource_cost_pooled_resource_junctions_tables to link them up. There is more to it then that otherwise I'd of fixed it by now and just posted what needs changing but unfortunately its 1am for me and I'm to much of a bingus to figure out chorf stuff anyway (only ever made cathay units before).

Hope this helps in some way, tried my best to help with the little knowledge of modding I posses.

Oh and important detail I left out is that it says I don't have the required armaments to do it even though I had over 1000 in my actual campaign I first noticed it in, and added over 100k in the test ones to each lord I tested.
