Does the advisor look the same for all cultures? If so, could you make one for the Ardiaei as well? They're my favourite faction to play as.

Ohhh i see. That might be a colour table problem. I shall crack it open and look at the colour table.

I'm normally always on Sparta for custom battles, but his cape still changes color.

Usually that is faction decided, so his cape will be coloured by the faction he's in, the red cape is usually Sparta, so if you find a red reskin for the chosen faction that may work.

Is it possible to keep the color of his cape red? Most of the time it's green, black, or another color.

if you subscribe to it, everbody gets it, its for folks that main only sparta, like me :D if you want others i have a few diff ones in my workshop and im making more

Sadly it's just the one, you have to open my mod shared files list and choose one advisor, i have a roman one and some greek ones and such, so if your going to play as rome or a greek state you pick accordingly. I will keep looking for ways to make him different without so many mods :D

So, does this replace the former advisor by a greek one? Or is there now an additional greek advisor (Only if you play greek Cultures)?
Could you maybe put different Advisors for each Culture into the Game? That would be awesome!

Yeah there is but the window stays. Its just no text. Thats why i said they changed it since Shogun 2 and its really disturbing for me if there is a permanent window that takes the entire left corner.

I think that's an option you can tic when he shows up

Can you edit it that way that there is only his voice an no window? I dont really need a face thats telling me that the enemy general is dead or w/e. In Shogun 2 it was that way, i dont know why they changed that.

We will just have to wait for CA to update the game with more freedom, or make a new total war with more tools to mod with.

Inside the files of rome 2, there is a SINGLE file that says "advisor.variantmeshdefinition." thats the only one. I can only edit that, and only one can be active at a time. CA as i said, screwed me over in terms of freedom. The folks on TWC are the ones who told me this in the first place, as sad as it is

no tables exist in any of the files that would allow such a thing, i poured through em all.

That is impossible to do in the current version of rome 2. Even in vanilla rome 2, it's the same dude for everyone, just changed slightly. Thats what i did :D

How can it be possible man? I mean, there must be a way to put all the advisors together in a single pack file and upload it to Steam and then, while you are in game, if you play parthians you see an eastern advisor, if hellenic= a hellenic one.....it must be the same as adding units to factions or so.

I will make parthian ones, and iceni ones and such, as well. but again, you can only use one at a time :D

Subscribe to one, and you get one. I will make more for other factions, but I cannot combine then and you can ONLY ever have one. So you must choose wisely. When you play Sparta, sub to this Spartan one. When you play iceni, unsub to this, and sub to an iceni one. (when I make it) if you want the advisor to match your culture

I know dude, but I see in your collection that you have just 3 models!! (greek, hellenic and roman) and I'm asking you if , for example I play with Arverni....will I see an arverni advisor? and if I play with Parthians? what happend?....

CA diden't give me any more advisor mesh files. I get one. So that's what we must work with, i know, it's sad yes, but hey, i deal.

I'm saying there is one advisor. Who can look different. No more than one. There is only one file in ALL of rome 2 that let's me dress the advisor. So ya gotta pick one. Greek when playing Greeks, successor when playing successors, roman for roman etc.

Decide what faction you like best, choose the skin that corresponds. :D

I'm requesting if you can make 1 advisor per culture ingame and how long will it take to get it done?

The good news is this advisor skins are squeaky clean, and could not ever really hurt your game, so you can switch amd edit and mess around with it like crazy. Any request? any skin at all? i can do like..any skin for him.

Well, the advisor is not universal, sadly. ya gotta choose one. I know it sucks, but CA did not give me much to work with :)

HEEEEELL YEAH !!!! now please make advisors for any factions: 1 for Easterns, 1 for celts 1 for germans, 1 for hellenistics, 1 for Carthage,1 for iberians, 1 for nomads, and I thinks that's all. balkans and illiryans can share celt and greek one. But as many as you make the better.
